that versatile swather brought me back to the 60's and 70's cut thousands of acres out in western mn. When just a kid ...now I'm 70 and my hearing loss I thinks from that Air Cooled Wisconsin Motor it never gave us a single problem nor the swather...

Applying JD two cylinder sound effects to an IH tractor? Your creditably went south right there!

That's the first RDO at 4:08. The building still stands in castleton North Dakota. It's a car repair now. Just north of there on the other side of the old bank is where the international dealer used to be. They're both basically along the interstate now on 18 south of town.

The john deere dealership in this video is the first RDO store that Ron Offut had. It is still standing in Casselton, North Dakota and is now a mechanic shop now called the Car Doctor.

I'm from Eastern Europe and American farming and farms have fascinated me so much. The overall aesthetics and everything.

2:00. Image very familiar to me. Loops of twine the result of broken bales made from IH baler that have to re-fed into machine. Twine hanging from bale chamber tensioning cranks to keep it away from getting tangled in the pickup. 3:05 That's a neat gadget for lifting bales into the mow. Uses the hoist and track from the old-fashioned loose-hay carrier.

Could that tractor possibly have an exhaust or manifold gasket that is bad and making it sound like that?

Wonder where it’s all headed? Especially related to soil health? Not certain we’ve come that far.

At this point the only thing stopping us from going farther is attachment to old ideas. Trying to convert our Kansas farm to regenerative methods and my biggest roadblock is my Father’s hesitancy lol. Going to put a multi species cover behind some wheat to try it out. So hopefully there will be enough benefit for him to be ready to start doing covers more often.
