Longbridge is the best place in my opinion. Totally redeveloping into a really cool place. Just go to Herberts yard on a sunny Saturday and take a look. Shelly Oak is awful btw. Might as well call it China town.

all parts of Birmingham have their good sides and bad sides, Solihull and the areas you mentioned have been targeted for car thefts and other crimes, but areas that are looked down on can have lovely streets and neighbours, its best to go to the area and look at the streets nearby to where you plan on renting

I have live in Birmingham for 69 years and there are no so called " No Go Areas" unlessyou are in a gang which goes for any City. So you say people have been stabbed in Birmingham, but nothing has been in the local news to say so, so people have been stabbed in Moss Side and Londons East End and there are no more racist people in Birmingham than any where else and Birmingham is one of the most tolerent Cities in the UK.

Walsall is a very cool place..(Its always gives me GRA /Estate vibes) I'm not sure if I could stay anywere else🙈..Its extremely serene and peaceful in comparison to the hussle and bustle of the the city centre. The only disadvantage sometimes is the job opportunity as it pays the most for those who are mobile😒

Walsall has not got a City Centre as it is not a City just a Metropolitan Town, it is Birmingham and Wolverhmpton that have City Cetres and Walsall is not a part of either City.

You missed Sutton Coldfield . It is the poshest part of Birmingham and Sutton Park is the largest urban park in the UK. The Sutton Coldfield suburb of Four Oaks is the safest place in the whole of Birmingham. There is a massive shortage of council housing in Birmingham as in the rest of the UK, you need to register with the council then bid on each property , the waiting list is long.

Unfortunately, you have focused on one half of the city. You left out desirable areas such as Sutton Coldfield, Erdington, Castle Bromwich, Castle Vale, bromsgrove, Sheldon, Yardley, Hall Green etc... Just to mention a few. The best way to have a good view of Birmingham is to follow Bus 11A and 11C full circle.

Again, Dudley, Walsall, Bromsgrove and Solihull are NOT part of Birmingham, but separate metropolitan council areas nearby and have nothing to do with Birmingham. A little online research will tell you that, not the foolish people you have been speaking to and I am speaking from personal experience 😌

Yes, council houses and housing association homes are cheaper, but it’s not easy to get one, they are provided by the government to the most needy (low income families, homeless and vulnerable people) and the waiting list is extremely long.

Exactly! They are not for rent. They are given for free. If you pay rent it means you are dealing with a private landlord. It takes on average 7 years to get a council house.

Running through your video quickley I have noticed that you have edited a few places out which show on the red bar but your video jumps here, but you still mention Solihull as a posh place of Birmingham, but like Walsall, Dudley and Stourbridge which you have edited out Solihull is nothing to do with Birmingham what so ever, it is a seperate Metropolitan Town of it's own and is not all posh as it includes ex Birmingham overspill estates of Kingshurst and Chelmsley Wood. Before making this type of video you need to do more resurch into the area involved

No, council houses aren’t eligible to everyone. If you are on tier 2 its highly unlikely you will be eligible as you are not able to claim benefits/government funds and council houses are provided by the local council via government funding.

@@Cavallibabe if you don't pay the rent for the council property you live in you will be evicted. if you or someone living in the council property with you commits a crime the police will inform the council and they will evict you. If you don't decorate the property or if it's cluttered or disorganised they will evict you. You have no freedom in them. You don't get a council house for free. Don't get it confused
