I live in the US not married nor have kids yet but God will do it very soon cos everything just started working out very well for me including changing of career to a better field which is the IT field. I got my permanent green card 10years after 4years i came into this country. It wasn’t easy but I thank God because I am a real member of NSPPD (What God Cannot Do, Does Not Exist). We paid cash, as we didn't have a bank acct as at then. This was only possible because it was a private landlord. I don't think council or Agencies will accept cash. We paid 6months straight

It's easy to judge things you do not understand based on your experiences back home. Your submission on student accomodation is not accurate. It's not normal practice here for student accomodation to be occupied by families with minors that is why they will not be interested in renting to you because of child safety. Their insurance might be voided if there are minors in the property. You should be looking for family accommodation if you have dependants with you. Having a student visa does not mean you are limited to renting student accomodation. All the best with your time in the U.K.

She didn't mention that they were looking for student accommodation. Its normal practice for landlords in the UK and anywhere else to ask a prospective tenant of their current employment status, thats where if one is a student it would then be mentioned.
