So let's say Owning a car costs him 12l for 3 years and renting costed him 9L for the same car. In this sense he saved 1 Lakh each year. This math is flawed. You can easily sell the owned card after 3 years for 50% and upto 60-70 if it's Maruti Etc. so how was the renting more profitable? the owned car could have only costed him 6L for those 3 and you can choose to even keep using it for more than 6-7 years. even after that time good cars sell for 40% value.

and also no sane person under normal circumstances would sell and buy a new one every 3 years , so if u buy a car worth 10lacs and run it for 5 years...the yearly expense that is depreciation amounts to only 2lac and I haven't even adjusted the resale value after 5 years, so it's going to be even lower.

I have been following this series regularly "Fix your finance". Please interview the people whose situations are similar to majority % of people (such that many can learn from the mistakes of others), not top 0.01% (based on his earning and spends) The series name is "Fix your finance", you are interviewing the people who have already sorted out everything. You can take his interview separately, but he is not the candidate of this series, for sure. I doubt if you have started just to monetise the channel rather than focusing on justifying the title of the series.

Bhai u r not getting my point. The purpose of term insurance is giving money back to ur family without any growth in the capital but if that money is invested it will give at least 2x-10x amount.
