I love the playstyle and theme of Dromai. I want ally-focused heroes to continue to be released and supported, but also want LSS to print more cards that can answer allies efficiently. Cards like 'Cleave' are a good start, but need far more examples printed, preferably in generic.

This could be incredibly healthy for the meta into Mistlands, I think we're seeing the longest lived heroes become living legend first because they are the most solved/understood. So my prediction is that Boltyn will crush the meta up.

Our local boltyn player ALMOST took down our last armory, went 3-1 and lost a very close game against Victor goldmane in the final match. I think he just lost too many clashes. But I'm psyched for boltyn to get his time in the sun. He deserves it.

yes, please comment on heroes "stuck" in the game since it launched and a problem that would be an accumulation of heroes in the meta pool for a long time, it would be ideal for LSS to give weapons to heroes who score almost nothing, as per Riptide example so he can see the color of the meta, whether as tier 3 or 2

Melee Riptide let's gooooo! I see no reason why a Ranger melee weapon wouldn't absolutely solve Riptide's issues. He could be really special in playstyle. Or if you wanna keep his quiver: a 1 handed harpoon crossbow. Make it function like a melee weapon, no arrows, just straight damage attack, but allows a quiver. He could really commit his arsenal for traps and not arrows. Maybe release a couple ranger attack action cards with it.

I think Boltyn gets better overall when Dromai leaves. Boltyn does well into an Afro meta (at least my local) and I think Mist will bring us more.

I Just hope Bravo wins everything and gets to LL in my opinion one of the most meta oppressing heroes and incredibly un fun games playing vs him and as him just a fridge simulator tbh he has 15 block value on his equipment alone not even gonna mention that most of Bravo turns are just straight up braindead since it is just throw 2-3 cards into pitch attack with dominate and a on hit and just destroy your enemies next turn I have played many games as Bravo where I just draw crippling after getting dominated for 4 turns and I just attack my opponent and make them lose tempo for free like the fact that I can just arsenal crippling then draw on my next hand 4 blues with tear asunder in it and just say lol crippling for 12 on hit discard 4 is just so hilarious there is no way that a opponent can win this game after that

Dromai seems poised to LL soon, Fai seems less likely unless he just gets there at events that reward a lot of LL points.

Personally I'm pretty excited for Dromai to go, she makes alot of heroes unplayable and feels like playing cards against a totally different game.

It seems strange to want to alienate players for 2 years. James White said people want a break from Talents and that is an appropriate amount of time to wait. I would sell your dragons asap unless you are keeping them forever

I think the Points are way to high at the moment. Just counted the points and there were 1348 points spread across all heros. We are around 2 months in the season and many pro quests etc. to come before the next set. This would mean that more then 1500 points are spread across the heros and therefore more then 3 heros rotate every season in average. In a Year there would rotate about 12 to 15 heros then, so most of the current heros will be rotatet at the end of the year and thats way to hard of an rotation for myselfe :( I know this problem wil settle if the meta is diverse and they print 3 to 6 heros per set, but in the beginning its way to fast for myselfe.

If dromai leaves the format, people would be more relaxed when it comes to sideboarding but i dont think players can rest easy as it will most likely give way to a nee Boogeyman in the form of kano which is scarier if you ask me

Dromai could very well miss getting a lot of LL points this season. Even if she does get there, she'll still be legal to play in Blitz and LL format.

Think there is any chance Dromai does not LL before Nationals USA? I qualified for Nationals and currently don't have another deck aside from Dromai. Flights and hotel are $1000 and I'd have to reserve them early for them to not be even more. Would feel bad to take the spot of someone else on a poorly built less than ideally practiced deck.

My biggest concern with rotation is how that will affect collectability long term. Take all the marvel dragons, if they are not playable, how low will the prices tank? Will people be even picking them up? Yes, there is LL format, and yes, theoretically we will get another Draconic Illusionist, eventually. (Also I know some people don't play with Marvels, I do; but a majority of prices are being determined if FaB by the playability of a card.) Hopefully LSS is aware of the long-term implications of having a non-set-rotating game, but having the LL system. Not just from a collectability standpoint, but all other areas of the game, like barrier to entry, managing reprints, supporting all types of formats, etc. I'm not really looking forward to the Marvel Dragons price tanking like how FA Starvo did.

When Dromai rotates out, we will see a future Draconic Illusionist at some point to take her place. Either it will be a new version of Dromai (like Prism's return) or a new character (like Vynnset succeeding Chane). My guess is we'll see a new Dromai that will be Empress of Volcor since the Emperor is dead: Royal Draconic Illusionist

James and/or Bryan already said in a recent interview that Illusionist is the class to have "building board state" as a mechanic of the class. The new Prism does it and it will continue in different forms in the future.
