So I did the math on it 3 lotto tickets in 30 turns is 90 tickets (assuming she didn't miss a turn or buy more then three, which Im prety surenone turn she bought 5 or 6 but I don’t really want to go back and check) tikets are $35 a ticket so she probably spent upwards of $3150 on lotto tickets and won twice so about $1100 she still would have spent more then she bought. However that 2000 point bonus at the end would help with the point difference.

Alot of Interstellar didn't make sense. With the scenario they set up, there were alot of better options then leaving the solar system. The black hole planet shouldn't have ever been considered as a potential home, there was no reason for Damon's character to be so agro; and that stupid anime-esque "our feelings allow us to conquer all" ending.... there was so much potential, but poor writing ruined it. Edit: Oh and the whole "Let's pretend nasa never existed" thing was a ridiculous attempt to manufacture additional tension and drama.
