Watching your videos of real village life in Bangladesh has been a real eye-opener for me, the community spirit and the generosity of the likes of yourself to help those who are less fortunate in life is something we can all think about doing.

@@samsammsammm1547 I was talking about the style of cooking not the content, and by the way you can get beef in India it depends on which state your in. I’ve been to India eight times and eaten steak quite often.

@@billbodger4723 I am Indian! The meat you would have eaten as 'beef' in India would actually have been water buffalo.

@@samsammsammm1547 ok I’ll take your word on that, but it was very nice with the taste and texture of beef like I said to start with out door cooking over a fire in India is very satisfying, and I will be happy when I can get back there again.

@samsammsammm1547 2 жыл бұрын
@@billbodger4723 Sure, it is a very tasty meat, and Ive also enjoyed many times, in Mumbai and Delhi. Especially as a 'sizzler steak'. In past 5 years, under Modi Government, eating 'beef' has become extremely politicised, leading to actual lynching and murder of some poor souls, often falsely accused of eating beef. Look it up .. and be careful about local sentiment next time you visit India! Best wishes to you.

I am just curious if this pulao is olden recipe of 1980s? my siblings Ustadh - who was Imam in Qatar, used to teach Quran (Abdul Haq migrated to UK in 80s ) we used to get large Handi of Pulao, since decades now, we still remember the Pulao. Those days we only knew Mumbai style Pulao and the arabic - majboos. And Bengali Pulao

It’s a village. It’s not UK. Where male and female hold hands, roam around all times easily. Come on. No that’s not real common life in Bangladesh or Pakistan or India villages. In villages, and rural places the culture might be really strict or modest. This area isnt exactly deep rural area its quite connected to main highway. But still a village. A Rural area would be meaning deep area in BD where some places still electricity maybe hasnt arrived yet, very hard to get, bordering areas, poor road connection. you’ll find them in South-west BD. Even in villages generally theres modesty init. but if you the town area like the bazaars u will find women in shopping and roaming too. It’s more common in big towns and cities like Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet etc. In BD or South Asia for that matter. It’s about where the location and what time of the day its to see, where you will find women and men together and free mixing.
