I don't mind paying taxes. It pays for a civilized society. I also reside in PA. I like driving on paved roads, having a literate populous because of public schools. I like that there isn't feces on the streets because there is a sewer system and a waste treatment facilityin place. . I like that there are public parks, museums, and libraries. I like knowing that if there is a fire someone will come put it out, or if a police officer is needed, or an ambulance, they not only exist but they'll be able to get to me because of the paved, public roads.

All the income taxes except state and local (assuming Philly, but you only said PA so…) are federal and you will pay them no matter where you live. Your income tax bill for living in Philadelphia, PA is $5,070 or 5.07% in addition to federal taxes.

There’s also Medicare and social security. Every time you buy a car you pay taxes. Grocery tax. Gas tax. It doesn’t stop. They also double and tripple and quadruple tax you for example with a used car. It never ends. By the end of the pay I’m probably paying 50 to 60% in taxes.

Taxes on automobile registration, automobile repairs and anything else the state, local or federal government can tax you on. Calculation is now 75% taxes
