Living full-time in my rolling tiny home has been the best decision of my life. Off-Grid living offers a peace and connection to life that you just can't explain. When i first started van life i build a stealth camper van with the mindset the you had to live a stealth van life and i soon discovered that you can just live the city van life and boondock in the countryside and as long as you are respectful of the backcountry and cities you live in. Stealth van life in not necessary. Be proud of the life you choose to live, Share this van life journey with everyone. Remember Tiny Homes and The whole tiny house lifestyle is very popular and #vanlife is no different. When you don't hide it people will come say hi and ask you questions. The world is more curious than hateful. Well......Welcome to my everyday van life adventures. My name is Chrome Valdez and i travel full-time with Cruz the bulldog. Stay weird everyone and thank you for being here.

Having some land will give you some storage space, a place to grow food and maybe a workshop. A little cabin with a shower would be a bonus. This could give van life more options.

Tiny piece of land with a small building so you can park and work on your projects and keep traveling. The tiny building can be big enough for a bed, small frig, camping stove. Get the land close to water if not on it. The bigger the land, the bigger the taxes! It's just you and your pet😃. It's doable!!. Your best friends can join you for a place of sanctuary!

While I agree it's not a necessity to have your own peice of land and you are great at finding amazing spots to call your own for a night, you have to admit that it would be even more amazing to be able to stay in one spot more than one night. If you're not feeling well or you just want to hide without having to look for that next spot, having your own space would be the answer. Heck, you can always keep traveling and exploring but have that space that is yours too! Love ya Chrome & Cruz!

If you ever did want a piece of dirt AND continue the same thing, you can have your cake and eat it too. What you could do is buy a small piece of land, put a small garage on it equipped with a bathroom (full or just toilet & sink), live out of the van while there. That way you can still travel as much as you want, keep your home on wheels plus have a home base.

I think you would be more likely to be able to sit still if you enjoyed reading books or had a hobby like whittling, drawing, writing, or crocheting. Hours pass quickly when you do these things. Crocheting is easy to learn by KZbin and the only expense is the yarn. Very relaxing and therapeutic.

💞.... The piece of land: maybe it's not about settling or locking yourself down but rather just about having somewhere to call your own . Like finding that 'someone' to call your own - I'll know because it wont feel like I'm tied down but somehow complete... I dunno but that kind of thing. Whatever you end up doing it'll be the right thing xx

I'm the same way ! I can only last a few years and then I'm not happy. I get so bored and feel like live is passing me by. Maybe the only way it would be different if it was a place on a lake to go fishing. Or just be in nature! You have the world in your hands stop and smell the flowers. I watch my small bit of the world through a window and just day dream what it would be like.

Hi Chrome, which Tequila you prefer or for your opinion is the best one? The camping spots are beautiful and plus for free, amazing! So true, we are so influenced by education with a strict way how or what we should be. This are schools for, to create customers and workers. Propriety will never be really ours anyway. I agree 100% with you, we are all talented for something by nature.

Love the bug screen. Owning a piece of land may not be what you would want right now but just in case you ever get to where you are no longer able to travel for one reason or another would be nice. If you have nothing but an open type garage structure and water near by with an iron gate so others couldn't get to it. A fall back place for the future.

Back in 1982, when I was a driver-guide out of Juneau, Alaska for Westours, 4 of us drivers got to drive Chuck West’s original 4 buses he started his tour business with out of Juneau and return them to Seattle. We took the ferry from Juneau to Prince Rupert and excited the Marine Highway for the Road Highway at Rupert. Amazing adventure. Loved Rupert and all that is Canadian for that matter! Well, except for the speed signs. Couldn’t WAIT to see MPH instead of Kilometers! Am I speeding or going too slow? Lol! Anyway thanks for posting. Brings back very fond memories of Rupert. ♥️ oh and I rode my Harley through too from Anchorage to Milwaukee a couple decades later. Yeah!
