Few things to note, u can put the bucket with water onto the fire by equipping it and clicking on a lit campfire and use it to water the plants. Fishing with an empty bait gives plastic and scrap, and clams which are also bait for bigger fish. U can trade fish for a kettle which has plastic, scrap, wires and circuits.

This is what I was practically yelling at the screen. I think you go too quickly sometimes and don’t process what the game tells you. It literally told you about the bucket and what to do. There is a lot more to this so I hope you try it again since you aren’t as stuck as you think you are. 🙂

@@michaelyoung5461 To be far, the game doesn't really tell you much, like it says u can desalinate the water, and it shows the bucket, but you wouldn't know to actually equip the bucket, then light the campfire and click it. Same for fishing scrap, the first few trash you fish up will be plastic if you are unlucky.

@@simhwui Actually at 21:07 it says you can use the bucket to collect water or a bottle. Equip the bucket to use it. You can only water plants with fresh water. Use the fire to desalinate the water. It explains it but you have to pay attention.

@@michaelyoung5461 yes but like i said, u have to click the fire with the bucket equipped. Normally people would assume that u put the bucket into the fire through the inventory.

@@simhwui Yeah, I see what you’re saying to be fair. Honestly, though, I do think Z1 tends to rush a bit sometimes. I mean I get it he wants to play and do the stuff but I feel like he misses important information in the process. If he would slow down a bit I don’t think he’d be as likely to get into situations where he gets “stuck” or doesn’t know something that he should. Just my opinion..

Metal scraps can be fished for. Without any bait, you can either catch clams (which can be used as bait for fish) or trash. And the trash has a random chance of being scrap metal.

@Z1 Yeah man, your game is bugged! The fridge has been reset to before you put in the battery and there are no more batteries to replace it with. It's bug that they were suppose to have fixed in the last update. Pro Tip: You can eat your Biomass while you save up salads to trade for the hammer at the vending machine. Then too, the Fish can be eaten raw and they fill up a good bit of Hunger as well.

A few people have mentioned it, but fishing without bait will result in Metal Scrap or Plastic Scrap. Occasionally, though, you can get a Bottle Blueprint, which allows you to make a bottle in the Workbench from Plastic Scrap. You can then fill it from the river, boil it in the Lit Campfire, and it becomes drinkable or can be used to water plants. You're going to need to some fishing with Worms to get 5 of those first Fish and fish with other bait to get 5 of each type of fish, as they're needed for the Eco Machine to purchase some items. So plan to spend SOME time fishing to get things you want/need... I'm trying to figure out HOW to upgrade the Workbench. It SEEMS to be an option in the Demo, as some items are marked "Not available in Demo", while the upgrade is not, but I haven't figured out what I might need to complete the upgrade. I'm pretty sure, though, that the Workbench's Inventory must be emptied before the upgrade can be attempted...

I place items like scrap, coils, plastic, and such in the workbench inventory.... as I played, and placed items in here (such as circuits and other 'materials') the upgrade option came available, and it allowed me to upgrade - then I was able to upgrade my saw... now it shows "not available in demo" for the next tier... I also didn't have to clear the inventory to upgrade, it just took what it needed from it's own inventory..

@@Ghozer Yeah, I think I need a single item more to upgrade my Workbench. I'm still looking for the Memory Chip, which I haven't found yet. I think that's all I need to complete the Workbench upgrade. Once that's done, I can start producing a specific part needed for the Smart thing up on the top deck.

@@garyschreiber8776 Get the memory chip from the android up the stairs through the gate :) - Talk to the android, ask it a few questions then when it powers down you can dismantle it.. it gives a memory chip and a liquid needle thing...

I had the same thing happen to me or I couldn't access the fridge anymore for storage. And your plants died because of little bugs killed them You can kill the bugs with your spray.

My guy Z, I can understand you want to put out vids so that there’s stuff to watch when you’re off cause your kid is born but honestly my guy, there’s no point if the quality sucks. Take it slow, sit down, relax, look at what you’re doing, pay attention to what you’re doing in the game cause at this point you’re doing the opposite of what you want which is making people want to leave instead of wanting to watch your vids. I can understand that you want to grow and got a lot on your plate but honestly what point are these vids if they kill your channel instead, no one will get mad if you don’t make vids everyone understands you need time you won’t lose subs because you didn’t make vids. Even when people try to point out your mistakes you just get defensive and push them further. Give what I said a thought ok?

I am sorry you feel this way, could you let me know what it was about this video that you didn't like? Honestly I would love some constructive criticism. I really enjoyed playing this game and the only part I didn't "enjoy" was when I couldn't progress without scrap. Ultimately this video has performed very well and I have not noticed a loss in any subscribes, quite the opposite actually. Please let me know what it was exactly you did not like, I always have room for improvement.

@@Z1Gamingirst thing you kept wanting more storage even thought the workbench and the camp fire literally had slots for storage, it says “storage” right there in the menu man yet you kept dropping stuff everywhere saying you need storage, next you kept trying to move on to the next area, that looks like a door that needs to be unlocked which means you’re trying to unlock a new biome without even completely exploring the first area, exploring it more or killing those weeds would have probably somehow gotten you to the drill allowing you to get more scrap. This is also not the only video where you face these issues there’s also stuff in your remains video as well. There are multiple series of yours where the game legit tells you where to find and yet for some reason you ignore it moving around looking everywhere else without making your life easier by just reading. The first area is supposed to give you stuff to move on to the next. When I say you lose subs I don’t mean just this one particular videos. I’ve been watching you since breathedge and trust me I have seen people leaving you just because you choose to ignore information which is right in front of you

Thanks for the reply and I appreciate your input. Unfortunately while recording videos I am trying to maintain playing the game while simultaneously trying to entertain. A lot of people don’t understand this and it’s not like I’m just sitting there playing a game at my own pace without a care in the world. If I took the time to read through every single thing the video would be slow, boring and not entertaining at all. This is similar to live streaming, while it might be obvious watching it back there’s a lot of things that are easily missed. I am working on trying to get better with these things but unfortunately it will never be perfect. I WILL miss things. But I will continue to try to improve.
