The picture of your grandmother brought back memories for me. I have a picture of my mom and grandmother that was taken in Anniston. Alabama in the 40’s or 50’s. It looks almost exactly like yours. They were walking downtown shopping. I wonder if this was a thing during that time. I wish I had asked about it before they passed. I always enjoy your videos and all your blue and white pieces!

Love your decorating style. Just thought I would share a problem solver with you. To hide the cords on my mantle I painted a 1 x 4 cut the same length as my mantle to match. I added some pieces of wood on the back to help it stand up and I put it in front of the cords but behind my decor. Hides the cords but I can move it if I need to. Hope this makes sense.

Everything is beautiful. Have you thought about having someone come out and put a film over your windows that blocks heat and uv rays? I used the mirror tint on my sidelights beside my door and its made a huge difference in the temperature inside my living room. There is a film that they put on cars that doesn’t really tint the windows darker but blocks the heat.

We have talked about that too. We love being able to look out .. but the heat is unbearable. There is a film on these windows we believe. But it’s not doing a good job anymore. We need to dig deeper into that idea. Thank you!! ♥️

@@vintagesouthernbelle-nicholeco there is a new kind of film that my son had put on the windshield of his car that isn’t tinted but blocks the heat. He said it made a world of difference when getting into his car that sat in the sun all day.
