Kimi don't feel bad I always read the directions after the fact. I'm that person that goes to make something out of a box mix and then two minutes later I'm digging in the trash to find the box cuz I need to read the directions. I love the white curtains. It looks bigger and brighter in the living room. You really gave it a thorough cleaning. I just love sitting in a clean house and enjoying it. I love, love to clean. As you are refreshing your living room, I noticed your black cords from your wall lights. I don’t know if you are aware, but you can get these paintable little plastic covers to cover your cords, then paint them your wall color. It would look nicer.

Sooooo much brighter and clean looking. Black curtains are a no, no for me. Also, try keeping all your window dressings the same colour as breaking up smallish open living spaces with different colours can interrupt a clean and open flow.

Mom hack I used either baby oil or Windex for a leather conditioner and it worked better than any store cleaner. Never faded just made it looked new and fresh

Baby oil would make it slippery,windex has chemicals that would ruin the leather.maybe if it's not real leather.

@reddog40 no you only use a small amount of baby oil and all cleaners have chemicals 😂😂 I used both products for years on my leather furniture and never had a problem.

That rug rake is a great little tool, i would get one if i had pets. My friend uses a swiffer mop with the dry sheets on her wood floors to picks up her pets hair. It works really good.

If you want to do a blue, what about a steel blue colored linen. This would blend with the walls better and wouldn't make the room to busy with different patterns. Like the lighter drapes so much better than the black ones. The black made the room too heavy almost. Otherwise it all looks great.

awesome cleaning Kimi,and anything below 20 degrees is a little to chilly for me,but even then I still find myself out in it shoveling snow regardless lol,today's temperature was 29 and lots of snow to shovel,including my mobile home roof,we've been getting lots of snow here,almost every day now it seems,and now we're under a winter storm warning till Monday, I'm so ready for spring lol,take care👍💙😊.

Here in northwest Oregon, we have had a very mild winter. Usually, we have 1-2, maybe 3 weeks of snow over the winter, but this year, there's been maybe an inch. So as long as the sun is shining and there's no rain, snow, or ice, I'll go otherwise I'm in waiting for the sun! I am 61, so it depends on how the bones feel.

Kimi me & my husband loves totally awesome really works great & I have 3 indoor cats & have a pet brush comb small & one with a long handle also love mine the cat hair you pick up from them are amazing love them. I love changing my curtains often makes it LOOK so good & change is good & always LOOKS good I love my curtains. My husband always says to me oh NO not again changing the curtains LOL I say oh yes I'm 😂😂😂But your place LOOKS so nice love it. Kimi,I don’t know if you ever do this but you can put your pillows in the dryer with a dryer sheet it will freshen up your pillows and get a lot of the stuff off of the surface of it and it’s good to also do your pillows on your bed that you sleep on that way too.😊.
