It looks amazing Emily. I love the way that the brown of the leather sofa picks up the brown woods of your chair and shelf. And switching out the macrame plant hanger for a shorter one works really well. Beautiful! And speaking as someone with two kids and three pets, I can tell you that the two leather sofas we have are SO easy to clean compared to material ones. Excellent choices :-)

Emily, that snake just needs repotting to make it stand up better. It is still in great shape. They are the easiest plant to take care of. Also, I kind of prop them up with a rock if they start leaning over. Love your ideas!

..and I would like to add that your snake plant is in full darkness from what I see. It needs a spot with more light. Peace lily will handle dark much better, and can be grown huge, if size is what you want.

I am loving the new look. It looks cleaner and great idea on switching the plant hanger. And oh my leather!!!! That couc is LOVE!!!! The plant needs to be repotted again and it will live. It just dont water it too much. It thrives even in the darkest corner of the house and it is not easy to kill. ;)

You can save your plant. It may have been watered to much. Dont water it for about 2 weeks. Or take it out and ket the roots dey then repot with some pebbkes below the dirt for drainage. I have that plant it's hard to kill. And it doesnt require a lot of water I usually water mine every 9 to 10 days.

I have a macrame-related question. I have several frame drums and I want to hang them on the wall, but I don't want to scratch the drums by hanging them directly on a hook or a nail. Can I use macrame plant hangers for drums? Or would I need something more customized for a round frame drum?

That sofa is so beautiful! I really want to get something like that for my next sofa purchase. Right now we have a gray one which is also midcentury-style which I really love. Aren’t you concerned with it getting stained with Olin around? That’s one thing I am a little scared of buying a leather sofa because I have two kids.
