I thought this video was really lovely. I just appreciate the fact you have shown us parts of your home! The fact that people are complaining you didn't pan over the room is laughable to me. Lily it is your channel you create the videos however you wish to! xxx

+Lily Pebbles I love how gracious and committed you are to your viewers Lily but sometimes I find that people can be overly critical and having to justify yourself and correct what other people find to be wrong is so unfair on our part. I just want you to know that I really appreciate every video that you put on your channel because your dedication to quality content is apparent in every single frame. Sending lots of positive vibes and good wishes your way
@amyannette878 жыл бұрын
+Rhea Bose I totally agree with you. I feel like so many people totally missed the point of the video. We have already seen Lily's living room sooo many times in her vlogs. I believe this video was to go into more detail on everything in there. It annoys me that we are supposed to be "fans" yet all people do is moan. Lily doesn't deserve it!! I've said all I want to say now lol xx
@emilycarlson51868 жыл бұрын
I really enjoyed this video, it was great to see close ups of all the little things you often see in the background of your vlogs snapchat etc! It's great to hear the story behind everything, especially for others who also have similarly sized living areas!

Wow, your living room is simply stunning Lily - the amount of thought you've put into personalising your space is so lovely to see. I'm still renting so can't make too many changes to my flat, but you've still given my loads of ideas for things I can do now and some ideas to save for when I can eventually design/style my own home :) x

I wish you did an overview of the after living room like you did for the before. A lot of the things you showed were close up so it would have been cool to see how everything went together.

Great video, I like the way you discussed each object and said if it had a little story attached to it, that was lovely. Really would have liked to see a panoramic shot, or panning shot of the room because it feels like I know where everything is from but not what the room, as a whole, looks like. The shutters are absolutely lovely, they add an element of panache, as does that shelf and pipe rack in the kitchen! Lovely home :)

I really like how you explained in detail about the experience and story behind every single furniture, helps us relate more. Btw Im sure there's some of us who still understand your want to protect your privacy.

It would have been nice to see the room as a whole, but I loved this style, I love how much information you gave us on everything you showed us and it's decorated beautifully. The pop of orange on the cushions really works well, I think the room needs it . Hoping the negative comments won't put you off showing us more of your home!

Seriously one of the best videos I've ever seen! You looked gorgeous, I loved that you talked about every detail. I love your home style, you did a great job with your description box and I would love to see more like this. A great inspiration. Thanks, Lily. My boyfriend's house nearly burned down one week ago and now it seems like we can do a whole make-over and turn the house into two flats, one of them for us, because we are a couple for 6 years but couldn't afford living together and now his parents want to make this possible. And this video makes me so excited to pick home stuff for my own little flat

Interesting video Lily, I love peaking at interiors (especially other small apartments like mine!). Am totally with you on narrow staircases & making sure you buy furniture that can actually get into the building... it's so easy to get carried away in showrooms! Love the handles on the cupboard doors, it's the little details that bring you joy. You've done a great job, looks like a lovely home.

I did love seeing all the individual parts of the room and the stories that went with them! I think the reason people are asking for an overview is because it's nice to see how the individual components flow together. Especially when you were describing spaces and locations, it was a bit hard to envision. However, still enjoyed the video :)

Lily I wouldn't take anyone's comments to heart, they are basing their idea of a living room tour on what other people have done in the past, it is ok for you to do it your own way. I really enjoyed how you talked through each piece. Because, I follow you on other social media outlets I knew exactly where each piece was without you showing the entire room. You show it all of the time in your vlogs and snaps. I appreciate the time and effort you put into making your content. You keep doing it your way, you don't have to fit into someone else's mold.

Coming from snapchat after already watching your video yesterday morning I really liked that you didn't do a pan shot of the room. It made the tour different and it was very lilyesque. I love all the features and how you've made such a small space so big and homely. Besides if people watched your vlogs they would see the layout of your room there. It's nice to see how committed to your viewers and your channel you are but don't be disheartened about one repeated comment the video was great and I can't wait for more tours just like this one without the pan shot!!xxxx

Love your living room! When I moved in with my boyfriend it was so hard to get him to be ok with my style or the colors I liked. We did a looooot of compromising. Lily! Thank you for taking so much time to share your glorious home! Exquisite taste, clever ideas! I am from Marietta, Georgia, born in Chicago but classic, eclectic, fresh, clean style is universal. I come from a family of antiquers, (Mom actually had a shop), love to mix genres together, as you have. Quick notes: the divine white shutters are called plantation shades in the states (like from Savannah, Ga southern style.). Have those in my home, fabulous. For the handy storage space next to the dishwasher, how about a dark pipe curtain rod and material from one of your fabulous pillows as a curtain?! (The wonderful print pillow just behind you as you speak...?!). God bless your new home, and you in it. PS could do without the FU book and what it says about the people displaying it-just my opinion, of course. Love your videos❤️

In that empty space beside the dishwasher you should make a long narrow cupboard with shelves that pulls out where you can store spices and other little things. I've seen them on Pinterest. Kind of like hidden spice storage!
