I guess the word couch is still widely used across the USA to describe a sofa. Thank you for another valuable lesson. I've always thought you were one of the best teachers in the world.🙂👍

Thanks Mike! It was interesting to hear "TV console" is commonly used in your country. I don't think we say this in the UK; we would say "TV stand", "TV unit" or "TV cabinet".

Extensions cords are what you use when you cord is not long enough. They don't always have extra outlets, and they don't protect against surges.

Your language is pretty good, but you need more punctuation in your writing. (periods and commas)
