Much reverb - tinny: usually a problem with the microphone; a makeshift solution would be a wool sock over the microphone until a better microphone is available.

Actually we have relatively good microphones. Swamiji is using a RODE wireless Go II. I'm wondering if the reverberation problem is arising due to the two overhead speakers behind Swamiji. Any suggestions to improve the quality would be welcome. Thank you.

That sounds likely. That's a good brand of microphone. Could be placement of speakers, or the acoustics of the room. ​@@IndranilSinharoy

​@@IndranilSinharoy We had a similar problem and realized later that we did not mute the audio input from the camera. The streaming software should have an option to mute the camera.

The audio can be processed through a freeware audio editor such as Audacity; out of respect for the speaker (and the audience) the quality of the audio should be checked prior to posting. Vedanta NY on KZbin can be used as a yardstick.

I have to agree. Especially the questions from the audience are difficult to discern, most likely because that microphone is less good than the one Swami is speaking through. Still, very appreciative that these are made available, no matter the quality 🙏

There are a variety of texts. Try 'Drg drysa viveka', 'Aparokshanubhuti'. Swamiji has extensive lectures on both. In case you want to go to the mediation techniques directly, would suggest listen to his lectures on Aparokshanubhuti from verse 100 onwards. Though if you do that, you are robbing yourself of the absolute pleasure of hearing Swamiji on the earlier verses!
