Living through others in this social media world

I guess I was onto something when I wrote the blog for this. I didn't intent to smile for thumbnails. I don't bother with them at all, it was auto-picked.

Haven't watched your video completely but , i am also trying to avoid opening yt for no reason although i suck at containing my doom scrolling addiction In my case the biggest way social media has affected is related to gaming. I have multiple times watched reviews of games and multiple times picked the games with positive review only to find it boring. My issue is that i let others dictate what other's enjoyment of a game will bring me joy. I am trying to work on it by avoiding reviews of games instead trying it out myself.

Maybe it might be that you don't stick to the games you want to play at all because they might not be mainstream. Clear your head, try to remember one game that you REALLY wanted to play as a kid but never actually did. That's what I have started now, also I have made a schedule at the end of the day as a reward to play a new game every day of the week, repeats every week, so I don't get bogged down with deciding what games to play. @@ni6hantalright i will try to make a list of games i wanted to play as a kid too. Really wanted to try witcher 3 because of all the praise and i hated the game. I played for atleast 10 hours. This is ironic because I loved witcher 1 Enhanced Edition. Played on my old Pentium desktop and i loved it. Ironic because that's the least popular game of the Witcher series yet it's my personal favorite.

@@RevKK-i4k Completely ignore what others like or not like or how a game is rated by anyone at all. In this current media world, we forget to account for the one person we should be accounting for, "Ourselves." I fucking love COD Ghosts despite it being the badly rated game. Similarly for a lot of games without taking into account nostalgia at all. There are so many games I love which are rated the lowest because it's personal to me. Start being harsh on your game library. Don't like it, stop playing it. Hey in the next stream, remind me to show some co-op games I have that you don't even own to play with me if you're up for it. That can help too, playing with others.
