18년동안 함께 했던 반려동물을 떠나보내고 많이 슬프고 후회될 때 그런 생각을 했어요. 내가 만약 다시 반려동물을 만난다면, 짧은 생을 내 옆에서 행복하도록 최선을 다해야지. 아마 그러면 그 아이가 먼저 떠날때에는 후회보단 고마움과 감사함이 남지 않을까.. 저는 뒤늦게 깨달은걸 미리 고민하고 계시니 참 멋지십니다ㅎㅎ

평소에 생각을 하던 부분이지만 저 또한 작년쯤 우연히 펫로스 증후군에 대한 영상을 보고 이 생각이 머리 속을 꽉 채우게 되었던 것 같아요.. 저희는 반려동물들이 나이가 다 비슷해서 더욱 걱정도 되고, 아내와 아이가 받을 충격도 많이 걱정되더라구요. 저는 고등학교 때 펫로스를 겪어보았고 그로 인해 17년간 반려동물을 키우지 못하다가 결혼하고 딸아이도 생기고 나서 우연한 기회에 소바를 집에 들이면서 이 모든 게 시작되었거든요.. 하여간 아이들 얼굴을 가만히 보고 있자면 '이 아이들에겐 우리 가족이 세상의 전부인데, 우리가 어떻게 해주냐에 따라 삶 전체가 바뀔텐데, 어떻게 해야 조금 더 행복한 삶을 누리고 갈 수 있을까' 고민이 많이 됩니다. 생과 사는 정해져 있는 것이지만 어떻게 살지는 온전히 선택할 수 있는 것이니.. 새벽부터 말이 너무 길어졌네요.^^ 짧은? 댓글이지만 남겨주신 글에서 진심이 많이 느껴져 제가 좀 감정적이 되었나봐요. 즐거운 주말 보내세요..!

언제봐도 탐나는 남잘세... 요리하시는 부분 때문에 이제 잘 시간인데 뭐라도 먹고 자야겠다는 욕구가... 소설이는 뭔가 움직임에 더 잘 반응하는 아이인 것 같습니다. 거기다 사랑하는 가족들이 더해지면 금상첨화. 템플스테이를 해 본 적은 없지만 이 영상의 전체적 분위기와 사람들, 아이들이 가져다 주는 평온함과 안정감은 그것과 같지 않을까 하는 생각이 드네요. 다른 점이 있다면 여기선 육식이 가능하다는 거. ㅋ 바쁜 일상에서 영상찍고 편집하는 수고를 해주신 '탐나는 남자'께 감사의 마음을.

My 8lb Schnauzer is also afraid of thunder, she hides under my desk in a fluffy bed, if the storm is really bad we have to hold her. 😊 I can't believe how big your daughter is getting, she is growing fast! You can make dried pig ears at home ( cheap & non preservative ) for Woon. Cut the dried ear into Small pieces, give to Woon as snacks for digging and hiding it under blankets as natural dog instinct (indoor) . Also as gum exercise as well.

정확히 보셨어요 ㅋㅋ 소바와 소면이가 어릴때는 몸무게가 거의 비슷했는데, 이제 거의 소바가 1.5배정도 될 거예요. 남녀 차이가 있다곤 해도 소바가 좀 살이 쪘어요..ㅎㅎ 소면이는 달리기를 세상에서 제일 좋아하는 완전 운동파, 소바는 운동 별로 안좋아해요 ㅋㅋ

Oh, those little beans🐾🥰 what a nice shot to end the vlog. Love that old footage. Reminded me of the times when Seol and Woon used to play or annoy each other☺ I'm afraid I don't have any toy recommendations. I do my best to "entertain" my cat whenever I'm home by playing his favourite game of fetch. It tires him out after a while and then he is content to just snooze or ignore me. Ha. Funny, my big dogs who just always wanted to be petted by anyone but weren’t because people were to scared to come close, were terrified of thunder storms, fire works etc. But my little dogs that everyone wants to pet, run from people scared, but do not seem to be bothered by thunder storms or fire works. Cray-cray 😂 The cuddling was special though, soft and warm to my ❤.

I attached 2 wood knitting needles to a fishing pole toy to make a loooong fishing pole, and I put the end under big handkerchiefs or crinkly mats, my cat goes diving and hunting and starts hoping about like a bunny, so excited! Cats love toy movement under cloth or mats!, Great for the living room while sitting on sofa.

I've started an account on Mydramalist to have all my notes, reviews and rankings up-to-date and organized. Simply I'm obsessed :D I'll check DP2 sooner or later because I've watched DP too and i'm curious, even though right now spoilers are everywhere already, hehe Stove League has been on my plan to watch list forever, so I should check it out soon! Beautiful video; beautiful music that brings tears to my eyes. 🎶 Congratulations on flu shot, Claire! 🎉 I have two ideas for Seol's playtime that I used with my beloved Jesse Cat. 1) A helium balloon with a long string that drags on the floor. Tie a lightweight toy (like a catnip mouse or anything fun) to the end of the string. The helium balloon will bounce along the ceiling, dragging the toy that Seol can play with. The balloon may interfere with your wife's interior decorating but one can buy pale, solid color balloons. I don't know what the dogs will do, however. !! Maybe put it in Claire's room (or your office) when she is at school? 2) My cat was a champion soccer player! You have wooden floors that are essential. Find a small, flat round disc like a plastic, milk bottle cap--something lightweight that will slide underneath a door. (Once again, I don't know what to do with the dogs!) Seol will start sliding the flat "soccer ball" along the floor and slide it under the door. Then, hopefully she will go to the other side of the door and slide it again underneath. Soon she will start hitting it underneath the door and run around to the other side of the door to hit it back. My cat, and other cats I taught the game, can play like this for an hour. My cat started to make fancy moves with her legs. She would take aim and "kick" the flat disc with her paw underneath the door, and then kick it back from the other side. It was amazing. Anytime it goes underneath the door it is a "goal." I am sure that Seol would love doing this too, but the question is the dogs. They might try to eat the "soccer ball" or at least carry it around in their mouth! lol. Jesse Cat and the other cats loved to "play soccer!" 🎉

One of the best cat toys I have found is this: GoCat Da Bird Rod and Feather Cat Toy, Handmade in The USA (1 Bird). And also SmartyKat Chickadee Chirp Cat Toy with Bird Sounds (C). My cat loves them. for dogs, you might try one like this ZippyPaws Burrow Squeaky Hide & Seek Plush Dog Toy, Log & Chipmunks. It will have small stuffed toys they have to get out of a larger toy. Or perhaps something like this for Soba and Somyeon? Automatic Throwing Machine Catapult for Dog Pet Toys Tennis Launcher Pet Ball Throw Device 3/6/9m Section + 3 Balls Dog Training. I am considering getting one for my dog, Blue. I love how you realized how much things have changed once the animals have less interaction. Very smart. It motivates me to be more involved. It seems daddy is Seol favorite member in the family. My brother and his wife had a rescued Shiba Inu. Roxy was used for breeding and the terrible breeder dumped her at a shelter when the dog was no longer useful to him. Roxy passed a couple years ago. Have a wonderful weekend Kish family.

I have a Shiba Inu, a cat, and a corgi. The corgi loves the robot ball machine even 9 years after having it. But her play days with it are only Saturdays. The Shiba Inu is 12 years old. The only game or toy she finds interesting is tagging the corgi's toy or daily treat. She doesn't keep the toy nor the treat. She likes to taunt the Corgi. The cat? Any robot mouse or bug under a sheet of light plastic. She quickly tires of the object if it is open. I purchased a cheap sheet of plastic often used by painters but only 3m x 3m, then used different widths of masking tape to build a sort of grid on one side. I then hand-pleated it without any attention to measure, loosely twisting the pleats, and then formed a ball held in place with some rubber bands. Then I put the ball under the covers of my bed just beyond my toes. After a couple of weeks, I released it from its confines and placed it on the center of the family room rug. I released a robot mouse under it, and the game was on! We only use it once or twice a week. Our cat loves it. Be aware that the Shiba Inu also loves it! I recommend not using it when the cat and Shiba Inu are in the same room.

I recently saw on the news that you had to deal with a great storm over there, and I just wondered how you managed, considering you live at such a high floor... I'm glad it was nothing scary...As for the toys, I guess for Seol a simple small ball of some material will do (did you ever try a ping-pong ball ? My cat chases a ball like that like crazy, until she gets sleepy...)
