I have had Fibromyalgia for over 25 years and have heard every kind of advice. There is No cure for it right now. The doctors just don’t know what to do. They just give you all kinds of drugs, but most .fibromyalgia sufferers are allergic to most medications. It is impossible to get relief. Like you, swimming is the only thing that gives me a little relief the water is so gentle on the body. It just ruins your life. We grieve the life we once had. There is just no end to the pain and suffering. You are such a young person to be dealing with this awful illness. Please be gentle with yourself and surround yourself with things you love and people who are positive. Love and big hugs from someone who understands exactly what you are dealing with. We all try to be strong every day and struggle through with a smile on our faces, but sometimes we have to give ourselves lots of Tender Loving Care. ❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦

I am in my30s recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and all the associated symptoms (seemingly endless). Thank you for being so honest with difficult and personal material you deal with and had the courage to share! What I appreciated most is when you said that you made a positive shift by asking yourself how could you make necessary adjustments/accommodations for what you want do with your life (like spending time with friends, family, going to events etc.) That piece of advice is now opening doors to solutions I never had on mind! Thank you

Hello my dear, I live in Australia and I have had fibromyalgia for over half my life and I am 61. It's been a LONG road and I DO understand how unbearable it is. Nothing really helps, and because you can't see it, this illness has made my mental health so much worse. I can't commit to anything in the future, and I've found myself very isolated. In Australia, I find the heat really knocks me round. It is a very lonely journey. People have prayed for me to be healed. But I think they mean well, but they don't want to deal with it. My heart goes out to you ❤

I am blessed with a brilliant husband who is my carer. This is EXACTLY what I have too! All the symptoms except the clothing sensitivity. I am in a big flare up and I keep active because I can't stay still. I have different medication for each symptom and these WORK! My lovely GP diagnosed me with fibromyalgia 3 years ago. It also causes blurred vision in me and blurred thought processes-known as brain fog. At chapel, a lady asked me how I am and I said I am fair to middling but she said "You look well!". It doesn't bother me because I am used to it! Praise God! Amen

@@EC-yd9yv Dear EC, Yes, of course! The meds I am prescribed currently by my GP for Fibromyalgia are Tramadol 50mg capsules take 1 to 2 capsules up to 4 times a day. They are prescribed in packs of 200 capsules. This is for all over pain of Fibromyalgia. I personally only take 2 at a time and each time with 2 paracetamol which GP says is fine. I take this dosage of 2 tramadol and 2 paracetamol at 6 pm daily. If I am in pain at 10 pm lights out time, I take the same dose again. If I have a bad painful flare up, I take the same dose in the morning on awaking and the other doses as required. I do not take tramadol all through the day unless I am in a serious painful flare up. Fibromyalgia is caused by trauma. Other illnesses that I also have which are caused by early life trauma are Depression I am on Venlafaxine, Anxiety, nothing, Restless Legs Syndrome, I am on the very effective medication called Pramipexole. It is what can be given to people who have Parkinson's disease. Chronic severe IBS C. I take prescribed laxative tablets daily at night 3 x Bisacodyl 5mg Also, for bloating of IBS C flare ups I can take the prescribed tablets called Simethicone 125mg / Windeze , after a meal as and when. I rarely take these. For preparing my digestion 20 mins before each meal at table I take prescribed Mebeverine 135mg one tablet at a time. These work well if I am religious about it. These are the illnesses I live with. They are caused by trauma-Complex PTSD. I am coming out of decades of trauma and I am soothing myself and I have help from the health professionals such as the Mental health department. Please let me know if this is helpful and any outcomes or effects for you. Kind regards, Elizabeth Darley UK🙂

Go apply for social security for mental problem you will get it immediately. Because i thought i caught mites from my dog and was talking about black dots in my hair roots and plucking the hair out the soc sec doctors labled me for having trichotillomania. A hair picking mental disorder. Which is NOT what i have i do have proof but they wont even LOOK AT IT! So let them believe their lie so i can have financi stability. Because prior to that i was working and had to quit. After my hysterectomy i had an infection from surgery. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. I got bit by a lyme tick and had all the symptoms yet they claimed a negative test liars! I had a bullseye around the tick bite. I had a gland swell into a large square brick on one side of my jaw highly visible it looked like a literal brick under my skin where my jaw is on one side of my face. The only time that happens is with Lyme! My mother put the dogs blanket on me without telling me while i was at her house recouperating from the surgery. The dog had mange mange is demodex mites, contageous especially with lowered immune functions such as i had. I had contracted streptococcus germ during surgery and had anaphylaxis and died was resuscitated. So yup lowered immune system i got mites still have them my scalp scabs up hair keeps falling out and every pet i get contracts it and dies. Im living in hell. Doctors refuse to treat my pain despite diagnosis. I got my CT scan and the first page the examiner wrote my appendix looked great i was normal for my age...i do NOT HAVE AN APPENDIX! Removed it in 2005. On the 2nd page, he wrote i had enlarged lymph nodes all over my abdomen, spine and joint degeneration, collapse part of a lung, a bunch more i had like 20 things wrong. My doctor lied and said they dont have a CD player on their computer in Order to read that CD. After 5 visits i just so happened to lean back while talking to her and there was the CD PLAYER attached to the monitor she was sitting at. She ran out of the room disappeared for 15 min came back in and set some referral up with a urologist! WHO TRIED TO STEAL THE CD with the CT scan. The nurse ripped it out of his hands and tossed it on my clothes a d said no this is hers! During exam my reflexes were backwards. Hit my right leg the left jumped then visa versa, he kept doing it as though he was intrigued He then said everything was in my head. No help for pain treatment or diagnosis i even had incontinence from the hyterectomy! I needed a neurologist which would diagnose Lyme and neurological disorder. Look i could tell you 5 times more atrocious things about the doctors lying and being inappropriate and malpractice...so much but they control the system. I just ignore them and do what i gotta do.

One solution I’ve found effective for fibromyalgia and a ton of other conditions is Bemer vascular therapy. I’ve been distributing medical devices for 15 years and this is the first I’ve seen that helps at the root level, the blood flow and toxin elimination. Eating right can help eliminate toxic buildup, however. If you don’t want to stop eating the foods you love, increasing blood flow and lymphatic draining by 30% will do the same. PEMF technology is incredible, it’s Star Trek healing L😆L Albert Einstein said "Future Medicine will be the Medicine of Frequencies" This quote is ringing through loudly now with Radiation therapy, X-ray machines, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) PET and CT scans, and ultrasound have all become commonplace and all fundamentally harness the power of different types of waves and their specific frequencies that occur in nature. Bemer has been studied extensively and found to increase the ATP of the cells by 20%, creating energy at the source of the cells mitochondria itself, no need for coffee, drugs, or anything else. No need to suffer any longer, if anyone wants help getting a hold of a bemer to try, I’m happy to help. 513-828-2277

Hi there I am living most of my youth with these exacts symptoms this young lady is describing. How do I get into contact with this young lady I am at the height of desperation I am impressed by her attitude I’ve had enough I need to speak to someone who understands exactly how it is to live with such pain but most people believe it is in your head. I ask humbly for an email address or Facebook details even if the young lady, thank you.

I have it. I want to ask all you with fibromyalgia something. Did it start for you in 2015 or around then say between 2012 to 2015? I believe it did for me and i think we can get to the bottom of this somehow by collaberation.. Our guest is in Kenya. I live in the Northeast of N.America. Which means i have seasons and when the sun is farthest or the pressure is low i feel unbearable daily pain. Summer days without a forecast of rain more specifically high pressure days are great. Low pressure is our enemy or at least my enemy. I feel pain all year but its in different places a d different types those are tolerable yet still very painful. I cant handle the low pressure waking up from sleep pain! That one is theee worst except the sciatica when its at its worst when you cant get out-of bed and ice dont work. I cannot use crutches because my hands wrists and shoulders cannot support the weight. Fortunately stores here have electric scooters to sit and drive so you can shop but theres only a few and people like to play with them.

I believe I have a mild form of fibromyalgia. My symptoms seem a little different than the average fibromyalgia case but they've tested me for everything else. I don't necessarily have widespread pain but I do have widespread sensitivity to pain and muscle weakness and extreme itchiness and irritation throughout my body. The pain is mostly in the neck area and also with swollen lymph nodes. I've thought it mightve been a pinched nerve but the MRI didn't find anything. Does anyone with fibromyalgia have similiar symptoms? I also have all the other symptoms like sexual dysfunction, brain fog, and constipation.

How do know people know if they have fibromyalgia if there is no diagnostic criteria?
@FibroWarriorsKenya
@FibroWarriorsKenya 11 ай бұрын
Hi there! There is no blood work or imaging done to diagnose it. Your doctor uses a lot of elimination and asks a few questions about your pain and how long it's been etc. Best thing to do would be to visit a Rheumatologist. They would be able to help you get a diagnosis.
