lol, i raced a lightly modded hellcat and he swore i was modded cuz i stayed right next to it. he was bumbed out. yes,my shock zl1 gets more attention than a super model LOL. ive taken a few losses but ive handed out a ton of ass kickings to high end cars. and low end too lol. with over 4 yrs. of ownership it still never gets old to drive. ive had some tough breaks however. hail damage, a rodent ate my wiring harness and some ahole hit me when i was parked. 2k in damage. but imo zl1s are a very underrated car. they can hang with much more expensive vehicles. if you havent i recommend ps4s. theyre soooooo much better than f1s which are a good tire. btw.the dealer i use has been great.

What a refreshing video. Great insight dude. Also, about the loud exhaust complaints... they are valid and let me tell you why. I have a 6th gen ss with a built stroker motor, headers all the works, with the factory npp exhaust. It was loud, yada yada. I didnt realize how devastatingly loud it was until me and my friend swapped cars. He in my car, casually downshifts and drives past me. Little did he know, his little downshift almost blew my ear drums out. Ever since then, I installed the dual tip exhaust just to quiet it down. Its real man. When they say its too loud, its too loud. Anyway that was my bit, and once again, I really liked your take on the car. I think im local to you as well. If I see you at streets or big willow Ill say hi.

Appreciate your honesty, knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for the Gen 6 Camaro in general. Completely agree regarding the GM and most dealership experience. It's amazing what they could fix or not notice/duplicate when a vehicle is under warranty. Out of warranty if any doubt just replace as many parts and add on as many services as possible. I wouldn't trust a dealer that said they would use Mobil 1 synthetic for the first "included" oil change. Just knowing how the dealer tried to sneak in fees when I purchased the car, they weren't going to give me a free Mobil 1 0W40 Supercar oil change. Maybe Mobil 1 5W30/bulk oil anyway I passed and did it myself and spent the $110. for supplies (10 quarts and a filter) plus some expensive plastic ramps for future maintenance. My wife's certified pre-owned SUV had a P0420 code, ended up being an exhaust leak they said not the CAT and replaced the muffler, seems okay. I asked to look at the work order, just wanted to make sure it mentioned the P0420 code, in case that CAT were to fail in the near future. Anyway the service advisor said "what you think I'm lying..." I just feel you have to fight them to get things addressed, can only imagine how they take advantage of those with little auto knowledge and the elderly. Sorry to ramble, glad you're enjoying that beast after the first year of ownership.

Coolant: my car needed over a gallon after 900 miles and I totally thought there was a bad leak. After topping off a few times, it has stayed filled now for thousands of miles. The top res needs to be full to the top and the bottom one gets filled to half on the line down there. Once you top off both a few times it should stay there. Described in the owners manual. And....I did smell coolant burning off for a little while when doing this. Try it yourself after the dealership top off. I bet the motor is fine. Was a very weird thing for a new car. My purchase dealership was 700 miles away.

Not too much for the open road. Most cars are too much for the normal street.....

I bought a 2024 Z06 LT3 corvette. My only regret was even considering a Camaro.😂
@Blakehenry113 ай бұрын
Are you serious? If you can afford a 2024 Z06 LT3 why would you? Your living up to the typical corvette owner mentality.

Congrats man. Yeah idk why id consider cars at half the price either 🤣

Also seemed like the Lambo was only keeping up because this was a manual. Big jump when shifting gears

I have a 2ss 1le and im starting to get used to the power… after your owning of the zl1 1le, would you recommend a zl1 1le? I was also thinking about a c7 z06 or gt500… What u think?
@Hot-1LE3 ай бұрын
Well my zl1 is not a 1le. Id only go 1le if it was dedicated full track car. Z06 yes. Gt500 is automatic only and im not much for ford after my last one. I would recommend a ZL1
