@@wiz9839 I'm typing on it right now but it's only been one month and my battery is dieing pretty quickly compared to when I bought it. I'm really mad considering how new the phone is. If you are a heavy user, you wont get full day battery life as its losing a lot of battery quickly. I charged it up to 100% last night, powered if off and in the morning it is 97% and its still draining...4000 MaH seemed too good to be true, and it was a lie as it only stayed like that for a month and right now I'm already at 95% just typing this comment.

NothingButTech Till 2018 I was using Motorola Moto X Play for like 2,5yrs, which had power button above the volume rocker on the right side of the phone. And I just got soooo used to it, every button was under my thumb and I could quickly access it Then I switched to OnePlus 5T, and even though I'm using it for like 2yrs now, I still miss that button placement. Idk, that's probably just me ¯\(°_o)/¯

Also manufacturers are putting the buttons on one side so when you prop it up to watch Netflix...KZbin...or whatever you can rest it on the side without the buttons. Helps the volume stay where you want it and the power not shut off. Just wanted to point that out guys...thanks!

7 months ago, but I don't think it's an upgrade. The software on the se is a lot better, but the battery life isnt good. The only huge upgrade is the display size and the battery.

The A20 DOES NOT have the SD 450 chipset, neither in the US nor any other region. It has the Exynos 7884 with 8 cores, which is faster and more powerful graphics-wise by a lot.

And your right, that Samsung Galaxy A20s had the Snapdragon 450 processor. But she said herself that she isn't that concerned about specifications and it shows. For the average consumer, it won't matter.

Just wish it was waterproof because my last phone the lg Q7+ was waterproof and wow was it a solder!lasted me 2 years before my son threw it on the one day I didnt have a screen protector and smashed the corner of the screen. But I'm just gonna have to be less irresponsible with my phone haha

Had a J7 since 2015. Tried many other options to upgrade from my J7 but couldn't find anything that worked well. Took a chance on the A20 and so far it works awesome. The battery last forever. Just keep in mind the display will seem pretty pixelated when you first get it, but stick with it for a couple days and your eyes will adjust to the display.

I bought the budget A20S to sample android for the first time. Apart from being laggy with the relatively poor processor, the rest of the phone is very decent although the A20S has an LCD display compared to the OLED A20. The panel is still good though. Strangely enough, the volume rockers on the S are on the left hand side. The battery though is phenomenal. As good as my 11 pro.

I've bought my a20 in December of 2019. Here's my opinion. Mine does not have the snapdragon processor. I'm not a gamer so I can't really say about that part. I have recently upgraded to android 10 also. My a20 has preformed well and I have not any kind of malfunction. The main thing with this phone is your settings,,getting it set up for your own personal taste in my opinion,,as there are many functions. I bought a good case as my hands and fingers are large and it makes it easier to hold too. So that's it...no problems no crashes....

Proud A20 user. For the budget I can't complain. Super AMOLED, decent workable cameras, decent day to day performance. Love the software experience. Got android 10 update recently. Waiting for the Android 11 with one UI 3.0 .

Just got mine. I was using a LG Stylo 3, so when I got this phone, it was a pretty good jump up. The camera quality is waaaaay better than my old LG. I'm completely satisfied with the A20. And I only play stupid idle games that don't really have graphics, so it's perfect for me.

Mid range phones will become more popular because there cheaper and people can upgrade them every year.. I'll stick with my unlocked 512gb/8gb ram note9, I'd rather run a flagship for a couple years, the specs are still relevant.. plus a note9 can be bought for under 300 now and last u 3 years easily, and the unlocked note9 has all the bands needed for all carriers cdma and GSM...

It's strange you mention the speaker as a negative,because my girl listens to KZbin full volume all the time with hers and I'm always impressed by it. For the price,its loud,has a fair amount of lows and mids, and doesn't get tinny. I'd say it easily matches the speaker of my LG v40,which is supposed to be on the higher end side of single downfiring speakers.

Interesting fact, the Exynos 7884 (14 nm) version of this phone probably have a better battery life compared to the Snapdragon 450 version. A protip for users would be to deactivate (or remove when possible) apps that come with the phone which will help at reducing OS memory consumption thus reducing the risk of having apps problems. 32 GB (eMMC 5.1, not UFS) is a quite limited storage capacity and also slower but the microSDXC is helping on that front as in many budget smartphones. Buy this phone without any hesitation, don't go with BLU phones that are designed to be obsolete after one year. Depending on your location, this phone will actually receive the latest Android 10 software update. By the way, good unbiased review!

First time I see a version of the A20 that has a snapdragon variant, I always thought that the A20 only had exynos model. And considering that the exynos chipset of that model is comparable to the snapdragon 632, I always though that the A20 was in the faster side. Cool long term btw

Have mine for a year. 3 gig ram ,8 core cpu, omled display, Dolby atmos. Watch youtube, play games, texting. Good phone, good camera, display, good speed. Depends on your budget.

Exactly after 1 year of constant use, I feel like this phone hasn't lost its worth at all. 3GB is alright for day to day usage. I have to make a ton of calls (both GSM and Internet Calls), read and reply to a lot of emails, 24/7 WhatsApp, KZbin of course, almost whenever I have it in my hand, Instagram and what not. After my warranty ran out, I unlocked it and now I'm using few cracked apps. Those too work great! I feel like I won't even need a new any soon. AND YES, the display is AWESOME. Day or night, you can't where the screen starts and where it ends.

I have the Samsung A20s. It's my first Samsung phone . I've had it for a month and so far I like it alot. It takes great pictures and does everything else I need. It's not Amoled but the picture is great anyway. The screen is just a little bigger than the A20. It has 6.5 inch screen. Worth checking out in my opinion.

Samsung a20 user here. 😁 get a strong hard case for it, the one where it's 2 or 3 parts and use a glass screen protector. The phone is too slippery and falls out of your hand too easily. I've dropped this phone many times with the case on and not once has it smashed. All of my other Samsung's smashed on the first or second day of use at work. A hard case is a must for this phone. Another issue is that if it gets wet, it's dead. Happened to my fiance.

The thing about the finger print sensor, it that it is quite a good idea to have about 3 registrations of one finger, the one you use to open the phone with, that way your covered, because if you only habe one registration you can only have your phone read your finder one way, but id you have 3.. Get my drift?

Are you sure about the Samsung Galaxy A20 having Snapdragon 450 processor? Everything I've read has shown that the international versions have an Exynos 7884 CPU and the U.S. unlocked version has an Exynos 7904 CPU.

What version of the A20 is being used? My A20 has an Exynos 7884 processor and some other ones have an Exynos 7904 processor. Don't know of any with the SD450.
