Cant put my finger on just one specific aspect about this home, but this brief tour gives off a total happiness vibe with its open, community space to be shared with others while still having a place of your own to be you. Really love this & how there's no space wasted. Its either being used to utilize the necessities of the said room or express the emotions of those fortunate enough to occupy it!!❤

Its circular instead of square. The soft edges give a more natural feel which is what we're designed for. The introduction of right angles in architecture was at the beginning of the stressful lifestyle we now live

@@myfirstnamemylastname2994 so true I call my house the money pit. Anyhow, I love how there’s no need for any hallways wasting space the way the house is shaved the bedrooms are good full space. And bathroom. And it’s good sleeping on the first floor gd forbid of a fire. And then upstairs in the kitchen is not right by the stairs and you’re awake when cooking and stuff. So I don’t know if they have a fire escape from up there like I put in my basement in case when the kids were older, they want to use part of it as a bedroom… but at least if there’s a fire and they can’t put it out, they can get to the staircase as most fires would start possibly in the kitchen area. That was a bit morbid- but just how my anxiety ridden mind thinks. But the house is beautiful.

Not to be a downer, but you literally know nothing about this house except for how it looks. You dont know how the sound proofing is, how the plumbing works, wifi, electricity, how to regulate the temperature. It could be the most environmentally damaging property and you wouldnt know. Just because its made out of wood doesnt mean its necessarily more future proof than the ugly houses in big cities. Its really pretty, dont get me wrong. Ive just seen a lot of "Van life" and "tiny house" trends that end up far more expensive and environmentally damaging than its advertising would led you to believe. Dont be easily swayed by a 5 second video with romantic music over it is all I'm saying.

Functionally perhaps, but it would destroy the view of the dome. The bottom open area would just be a big circle, and the top would be blocked by each bedroom wall. (I mentioned this in another comment, but also I'm not sure an open area could support the upper floor without adding some columns and that'd break up the space.)

This "upside down" plan is often used to give the living areas the best view of the surrounding area. In this house it also allows the living areas to have the dramatic ceiling.

The only three issues I have with this is that 1, the main room/kitchen should be on the ground floor (having a bedroom open to the front door just doesn’t feel right), 2, the bedrooms need actual doors, not curtains (even with a family that respects your space, those sheer cut stains offer zero privacy), and 3, from what I can tell, there’s only one bathroom everyone has to share (with that many people sharing a bathroom, they’re gonna be fighting over it, both for the space and who gets to use it first) Other than that, It’s beautiful

The open area providing a sense of spaciousness, the warm wooden floors, walls and ceiling. Windows every where with almost no corners with softy rounded house. I love the piece in the ceiling/floor in the center. Gorgeous and intriguing also letting light in below. It brings the two floors together. I wonder what the air flow and heating and cooling system is like. I would think it would be easier to heat and cool because it's so open. I just love the wood everywhere. If you want a house like this I guess your going to have to have it built. So unique. Wow.......!
