Good honest video re traveling with big dogs. I have 2 lassies, friendly...too friendly. But I like how you allowed them to breathe fresh air out of the windows from the back of the van. My seats don't lay flat enough, need to find a better vehicle.

Hey T! Can’t say it’s easy because it’s pretty hard but definitely worth it. And our dogs love it as much as we do! We’re now traveling on a sailboat so we’re still adjusting, luckily they love swimming!

I would consider getting a professional trainer because Akitas are VERY hard/advanced to train especially with socialization

Are you going to travel with them on a boat? .. check the traveling requirements ahead of time there are a lot of places that have very struck requirements (ex. Rabies vac has to be 6months before traveling )

How do you deal with dog fur and dog smell in the van?

Oh! Good question Elysa! We literally love our vacuum cleaner and cannot live without it. I live with a broom on one hand and the vacuum on the other and yes, it’s a daily thing otherwise the fur takes over us. Regarding the smell, unless our dogs are wet after swimming (in which case we leave them outside) they don’t smell.
