Jackson, you didn’t even mention “The Bend” brotha. Right on the corner of BW8 and Woodland Hills. Two year buildout, and it will have new shops, restaurants, bars , and luxury apartments. The apartments are being built at the moment, but all the luxury shops and everything else will be open by July 2025!!!

This looks like a bargain, but absurdly high property taxes makes Texas a nonstarter for this home buyer. Can people looking for homes at this price point really justify throwing away an extra $400-700 a month for nothing they can hold in their hand? Sorry, but this retiree says FU to roads and schools. Texans really need to initiate a Prop 13 revolution. High property taxes that increase every year, making administrators and bureaucrats rich. It's getting out of hand and needs to stop.

Probably not. That’s how they get people with these videos. The model homes always have tons of upgrades that aren’t included in the base price. Once you add in the bs upgrades it’s way more than 300k.

This is a lie, I guarantee you that model home, as equipped, is not $300K. For $300K you are probably getting super cheap looking inside, no crown molding, recessed simple lighting only, carpet, no blinds, etc. Its like when they show you a $50K top trim car and say it (coughcoughstartsatcoughcough) $30K.

@jotttis8680 Trust me... It's great living here in TX. I moved here from NJ 8 years ago to escape the high cost of living of the NYC Metro area. TX cost of living is on par to what our parents' cost of living was to them in the 80's/90's! Turnoffs in TX are the high property tax rates, construction everywhere (everyone is moving here from the coastal states), and the extreme triple digit Fahrenheit heat we're experiencing now in July. If I were to pick what TX can change to make it on par with Florida's cost of living, it's to lower TX's property tax rates.

There is a garage. The house is currently a model home and the garage area is being used as the sales offices. Once the community is sold out, the offices will be converted back to a 2 car garage.

How it is possible to sell a house for that much? It cost $1 million to just build a house like that in Vancouver. The labour would be about 300k and government fees would be $150k. Cost to build in Vancouver is $250 per sq ft.

I would suggest watching videos by other realtors, the guy talking shouldn’t be the focus of the video, the home should be. Maybe watch a few technique videos on panning the camera, angles, lighting, and camera settings. Maybe invest in a gimbal as well. This comes off as amateurish at best.
