I love this and all of the vintage pieces! This year I have decided to decorate with more vintage pieces as well. In previous years I was always decorating with minimal things and I found that it wasnt doing a service for my kids during the holidays. I remember growing up and always playing with the little Christmas trinkets my mom had out every year. I wanted to bring that Christmas joy back for my kids this year

I'm sitting in the hospital with my husband as I'm watching these videos. He had a stroke back in May of this year. He is paralyzed on his right side and also has aphasia. He can understand everything but cannot always communicate as his speech was affected. We both love Christmas so much and love to decorate for the Holidays. Not knowing what lies ahead gor us I began to cry as I was at the end of your video and then you said your little prayer. It was meant to be that I watch your Video, I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas!

Her home is one of my favorites on IG! I just love her style and taste, her Christmas home is the pinnacle! So many things to enjoy, I too, have a very varied pallet of things I love, started out prim, moved to farmhouse, moved to vintage and all of the above 😂 can't seem to stick with just 1 thing or color throughout. Holly showcases a wonderful variety of homes and decor styles, many of which are different from my own, including this one. But each offers so many creative ideas I can implement with my own twist. I especially loved this video and will watch it again, as there is so much here to admire and enjoy. There are so many carefully curated collections displayed in charming vignettes (my favorite is the kitchen garland). I love the sentimentality and family tradition. The overall effect is exuberant and joyful. Brava!

I collect salt&peppers sets, teapots, roosters(which quickly became my entire house theme on walls, cabinet knobs, dishes etc), cobalt glassware>then purple/plum glassware for my master suite, and then footed/pedestal bowls….For Christmas I’ve collected Mercury glass, owls, and nativity sets(I got rid of snowman collections)…..well basically anything that’s collectible, cause I’d collected trinket boxes in the 90’s, as well as antique canning jars.

I also decorate, like crazy…my entire house, and I love it…but it makes me so sad how almost literally every family member ignores it. They’ll come over and say nothing!!!! how can you say nothing, when there’s so much to see? Are they jealous, I just dont get it. It hurts me actually, because my decorating is my art, and they don’t care to recognize what I do.I guess I’ll just be happy that my husband enjoys helping me, and my bestie and I share our decorating endeavors. It’s almost as if she, the bestie does it as competition, but I’m not at all the competitive type….so I just go along with what drives her to do it.
