Oh wow, this sounds like it’s going to be a right cash cow for LV. If the multicolour Speedy has a strap, I just might cave. I’m happy to have a new collection because although I can appreciate the older ones, the style is definitely of its time and I wouldn’t carry any of them today. Thanks for the info, Meredith. Eta: Definite cash cow, glad you agree 😂. Just seen the Speedy has the brass corners rather than being a regular Speedy shape 😞.

💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🖤🤍 Meredith, thank you for taking the time to do this💕……..as a designer I almost cried in agreement with you about the original Murakami collection vs the new one. 🥹💕In looking at your background of all of your original Murakami pieces my heart was so happy for you🖤🤍❣️🥰……I have an 80 year old client that agrees with you as well here’s what she said,.. ‘I adore the original LV denim, the original multicolore and original cherries pieces from LV, she said, I waited until their prices went down on the preloved market and for example purchased a beautiful white multicolor speedy for $700, she said I don’t believe that LV should rerelease famous collections bc the originals will ALWAYS be superior and by making so many new items in a new collection it is unfortunately much easier to replicate which in turn makes them not as special as the original. Also the ridiculous prices are absurd……..80 year olds are always so wise❣️❣️❣️……ps Meredith you need that black multicolor trunk from fashionphile you saw in NYC💞

I have several pieces from the original Murakami collection. Speedy both in white and in black are my favs w/matching wallets. Interested to see the rerelease-my original pieces are in pristine newish condition & feel they’ll probably of better quality & value. I’ll probably purchase a piece or two if they have that amazingly ‘wow’ factor. Thanks for the video 👍🏻 Great info.

Look at the crazy difference between the amount of material for a pochette accessories and a keep all. But the price for the pochette is $3450 and the keep all is around $7000 ! Now that is just insane.

The new colours for SS25 are pastel. Candy is pastel pink. In Australia, size 25 there will be ultra black, lemonade (pastel yellow), summer peach (pastel orange). And size 30 there will be ultra black, candy (pastel pink), frozen lime (pastel green).

Question to Meredith or community members: I just received my first brand new Louis Vuitton bag in the mail. I went in store and they didn't have the bag I wanted, so they ordered it for me. The bag has two chains. Neither were wrapped. One was put in the LV box loose, outside of the bag and dust bag. The other was in the dust bag with the purse and also wasn't wrapped in foam or plastic...just loose in the bag with the purse. Is this normal? Compared to how Coach packages their bags, this LV experience was a failure. Thanks!
