Interesting interview. JA and I used to hang out at his apartment, get SUPER LIFTED, and then go drop tunnel and street bombs out in Brooklyn & Spanish Harlem until the next day. I remember when we both got bagged out in Brooklyn tearing up the gates. Transit Police rolled up on us, cuffed us, brought us to the precinct, placed us in different cells, and I never heard from him again. JA is a seriously dedicated bomber. [SOE XTC, P23D] . . . The cops told him to leave East New York !!! lmfaoo0o0o...I'm from East New York, born and raised in Pink Houses projects. I lived there from 1986-2010. East New York has always been wild! During the 90's East NY was one of the most dangerous places in this whole country. It didn't hep that it bordered the Brownsville neighborhood which is arguably the wildest neighborhood in Brooklyn With those 2 neighborhoods combined you have about 15 different housing projects You would have murders and shootings pretty much every night. Robbery was also very rampant. Everybody gets robbed in East NY lol, its always been that way. I love my hood and will always rep ENY, however I'm glad I was able to move away and have a descent chance at life. Not too many people made it out during my era. Its totally different now in 2022. Some parts can still be very dangerous but now it's becoming more gentrified. But yea if you survived East NY through the 80's and 90's you've seen a lot of wild shit.
@yankees292 жыл бұрын
East NY was the wildest place I ever saw in the 90’s. I was a crack head and I used to drive over to Fulton to cop. I remember seeing JA up on every gate around all the spots. No joking like every single spot we hit up he was on the wall or gate. That’s some serious dedication. That was a really rough area back then.
@yankees292 жыл бұрын
And I just wanted to add I did a construction job in ENY a few years back near Cypress. It was so quiet and different I actually couldn’t believe I was in the same place I used to see. I think we were near Fountain and Sutter? Totally different from when I used to go on missions there.

You had store owners and civilians of every kind wanting to chase you and grab you and sometimes fight or try and hurt you some way , Cops were not having it back then either ! Today you got cops that will literally watch you bomb and be all into it and amazed and let you rock w no problems whatsoever ! I could walk outside get me a coffee and bacon egg n cheese and literally do huge fill ins in front of everyone on main thoroughfares and no one would say a word ! Life and what people want to get out of it is different for everybody. Success doesn’t look like the same thing to everyone. A lot of people think money and possessions = success. Some people don’t need all the bells and whistles to be happy. The number one death bed regret is “I wish I wouldn’t have worked so hard”. So who’s really winning here? If you are to wake up happy in the morning I think you are on top, regardless of how much stuff you have and how much money you made 🤷♂️
