Congratulations on your new studio spaces. You’ve done a brilliant job converting the Byre. It was great to see it finished last week but there is real joy in then getting your stuff in and making it your own. It'll be great to have the cottage as your relaxing space rather than as workspace. Now you really are home!

I also like your other videos...she walks she paints n your digging f treasures.,fishing n foraging,clean ups n recycling..as well as when you get together with other enthusiasts! Amazing Transformation of the byre and great dampening with the rugs especially the blue tones of Sarah’s studio and the red zone of Willies with the rugs and red Richard byre door desk and his lovely old tartan chair. That covered over your fuse box will be a perfect place to keep us bottle of spray cleaner and the clean cloth for cleaning up spills the places that need to be cleaned by maybe the window or a picture of that has glass on the front of it or something like that or for cleaning that mirror on the front of the box! I'm sure you get the idea. I like it I like the way you've used what you had and used it in the new way from what you were using it before. Good luck in finding more for the wall!

I really like Willie's side of the byre, but I reckon where the old bottles are that a shelf above them with upright panel supports to make square storage openingswould make it look even more like that old store he likes... (Plus more space for bottles!) Both parts of the byre look great though 😂 Painting DEFINITELY needs good light 😬

Yay thanks Lori!! We are so happy with the results. In answer to your questions - yes we are considering a mini fridge for Friday afternoon beers and yes, but it’s very faint if all the doors and windows are closed!!

Sarah, why not put casters on all of the legs? Then you tweak the arrangement of your furniture over time, and do it by yourself if you want.

Studs, not joists. Joists are horizontal, and studs are vertical. Unless they call them out differently in Scotland. If that is the case, just ignore me!!!! Lol!!!! I'm loving the studios!!! Excellent work to you both!!!! I'm a musician also, so I can appreciate a nice studio.

Well, at least the neighbors can't complain about the noise! Jack, a likely dumb question...can you play the drum solo to In-A-Godda-Da-Diva? The few drummers I've asked in the past break right in to it!---Sarah, not indecisive. It took seeing the actual space to know what was actually gonna be most efficient. You didn't make a bad first choice after seeing stuff in place & making the decision to move furniture around.

My husband is a talented wood worker and a perfectionist in what he does. When he was walking through the room and saw the byre finished product he said, "Wow!
