Morning RBS, we were quite surprised to find that too. Perhaps people were more spread around the island in the summer, as opposed to Funchal in the winter (for the fireworks)?

Hi Eamonn, you can walk the centre of the city in around an hour. Or to enjoy it it's best to walk slowly, take all day and soak it all in!
