I lived there in the 70s and then again in the 90s. There were a lot of changes between those two times but this video shows it is substantially similar to when I was last there, about 25 years ago now. Notts is gone - I guess old Mr. Nott died some time ago. In the seventies I was a student and lived above a shop which today looks as though it is a bookshop but was then a gift shop called The Hobbit Hole. I remember an episode of The Onedin Line being filmed there in about '75!
