Now that's vain repetition because they are just repeating the same prayer over and over again without it really coming from their own hearts. It's just words with no meaning behind them. That's why Jesus said do not pray with vain repetition... it's not the repetition that's the problem it's the lost of emotion when you repeat something that is the problem....44 And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. The original Holy Word was written in Hebrew before being translated to Greek. The Greek translators changed His beautiful name, Yeshua, to Jesus. Still to this day when the original Hebraic Old Testament/Tanak is read the word for Salvation is Yeshua.

Unfortunately due to severe depression and my ADD I can barely do personal hygiene, let alone much else. However, possibly due to prayers from my post, my ex let us have lunch at a restaurant a few days ago w/ both my kids (she sat @ a separate table behind us) -- she even let me ride in the car w/ them. To my surprise, she then let us spend another 30 - 40 mins @ a 2nd location. Three significant things occurred on that day: 1. This was the first & only time (in 2021) it was an unsupervised visit with our kids; 2. Riding in the car w/ our kids (another 1st for 2021) (car accident's how she got her PTSD); 3. We got to spend aprox 90 mins together (lots of hugs) -- all while my ex didn't criticize, micro-manage or get involved in our visit. Thank you Jesus Christ!

We went to a privately owned coffee shop yesterday bought gift cards and gave them away with living waters gospel tracts in the line waiting for the drive through. So much fun, gift giving and telling people who the real gift is. Thank you Ray and team for inspiring us to be bold for our faith, generous with His love and having a heart for those who are perishing. Biblical Evangelizing 101 has been a wonderful teaching tool for our Sunday school group.

If I was him I wouldn't have called him a cuss word. I would have told Joel that "what shall profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul". Joel is very rich and uses his church to live a very luxurious lifestyle. I think he shouldn't do that and I think he teaches his followers not the importance of the Bible but only what people want to hear. I don't believe he teaches the Bible the right way. He doesn't talk about us being sinners and are heading to hell. All he talks about is how much good God can do for you if you donate you 10% or do good things in life. It's sad to see a preacher not teach the Bible the way it's meant to be taught.

Thank you for making these videos, Living Waters. I realize I have some healing and re-educating needed because of my confusing and religious upbringing. We were encouraged as kids in our youth group to evangelize to strangers but without any understanding of what we were doing or why. It was an impersonal and humiliating experience for me and the people I would talk to. I've had a very cynical view of evangelism because of those experiences. I noticed Ray was getting a little flustered when the lady was being difficult. That helps me because Ray has been doing this a long time and sometimes he gets a little rattled. Could you imagine if she was being extremely difficult or even hostile. Evangelism is not always easy. I learned from this and it gives me reassurance that I'm not alone in my feelings of anxiety.

@@robertdouglas8895 Matt. 6:12-15 Yes and no. We should ask for forgiveness for your sins. But also, we should forgive those who trespass against you. God will forgive you if you forgive others, as he said he would, but God also commands you to ask for forgiveness and repent. Now, God is faithful. He will do as he said. But, we are to be faithful to him also, that we might reflect Christ, who was always faithful to God. If we love him, we rely on him to help us do as he says. Hence, we rely on the Holy Spirit to humble us that we might be able to see the plank in our own eye Matt. 7:1-5. I've never seen Ray place himself above others. From my understanding, he always acknowledges his own sin, then points out the sin of others. Completely equalized. Think about it this way: how are we ever going to become humble if we cannot acknowledge our sin? How can we ever stand before God justified if we think we can be sinless on our own? One who can't confess their own faults will always be very proud, unless they are actually perfect. And only God fits that bill.

@@robertdouglas8895 Repent and believe in the gospel. That is no ploy. Some People don't like to be told they're sinners because they love their sin and don't want to give it up. We have to do more than to forgive others. We need to repent of our sins and trust in Jesus Christ and believe in the entire gospel. We need to be a doer of God's truth and live the truth of the gospel. Not just the parts of the gospel that we agree with and then we can disregard the rest. That's not how it works.

I remember once upon a time, as a child(maybe 14 years old or so) I had accidentally recorded myself with a tape recorder. When I listened to that recording of myself days later I said to myself, "listen to that nut, who is this raging fool?!!!", Then I did realized that "nut and raging fool" was me. Changed my life. I personally believe Joel Osteen serves Satan‘s kingdom and I’m not alone in this. Though I would never shout blasphemies at him as that is not very pleasing to the Lord. Joel says things that tickle peoples ears and that’s about it. I remember watching a sermon from him years ago where he said that the Lord looks down on the impoverished and that was it for me! I also have a client who was on a flight in first class with he and his wife Victoria and she was dropping the F bomb right and left. Thats right Joel Osteen‘s wife! Apparently the stewardess told her she had to keep her little doggies up and she told her where she could go. There are many false prophets And there is none good but God. Ray I absolutely love your gentle approach with how you handle some of the people you evangelize to. You certainly have the Holy Spirit living within you. God bless

I was on edge the whole time Ray was interviewing the lady. I really didn’t know what to expect but Ray has a gift from God that people just stay and listen. I truly hope she will learn the fear of God and get to know Him.

If you do please read what an apostles said about himself- Timothy 1:15 “This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief” John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." Ray has said to people " you're a sinner just like the rest of us." From my own perspective Ray has been faithful to tell people the good news. You keep commenting against him yet Paul who wrote the majority of the new testament made clear we are all sinners. I don't know who you are but If you do believe what you're saying -->Unless you know you are a sinner first and need forgiveness- you are denying basic principals that " all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" This is plain throughout scripture. As for Ray preaching the gospel this is what I see in general in all of the comments: Corinthians 2:6:dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors." He's preaching the gospel---> regardless of how he's doing it the desire is for people's soul to come to Christ..you Said " Jesus never made himself out to be better than anyone else. He was God made flesh- yes... he was better. And his saints will proclaim his was the Son of God and Messiah. At Christmas time I pray you have a wonderful Day. That The forgiveness you say we have would be in your heart for Ray even though you say he's trying to make himself better than others. He's clear we all need Jesus Christ.

I wonder if most of us watching Ray present the Gospel in the Father's love to others, are here to gain more wisdom in witnessing to the lost? And as for Joel Osteen.. his Dad John Osteen will always be one of my favorite preachers. I still watch him today and John greatly encourages me with his enthusiasm & knowledge in presenting the Word of God. Pray for Joel, we all fall short.

I do not agree with using profanity for any reason, as a Christian we are to show compassion and love towards one another, Jesus tells us to humble ourselves. As far as Olsteen goes I wouldn't call him a minister at least in the terms of Christianity, the things he believes in and says is okay goes directly against the word of God, especially when it comes to perversions and abominations.

I use Living Waters nearly everyday (I usually don’t go anywhere on Sunday, expect my local church). I highly recommend buying some Living Waters gospel tracts. Time is short. When someone dies and goes to hell, it’s not a weekend stay; it’s for an eternity. 🔥

@@robertdouglas8895 Well, my version of my Bible(NIV) says "Go now and leave your life of sin", which explains it a little better. But Jesus knows that we will still sin, He knows that we still have a sinful nature even as Christians, and we will still sin at times. The difference is that we will not be stuck in sin as Christians, and whenever we still do mess up, we can come to God and repent and turn from our sin. But Jesus was not asking the woman to never sin again, He knew that is impossible for any human to achieve on Earth, but what He was asking her to do was to turn from her life as a sinner and start following Him. The point of the story, though, is that Jesus, a Jew, broke all social boundaries by meeting with this woman, a Samaritan, whom Jews would never associate with whatsoever. But Jesus loves everyone and He knew this woman needed to be shown the love of Jesus because she was rejected by everyone else.

we are all gifted in various ways when sharing the gospel. for some they talk and spend time with one person for several minutes. others make gospel signs and stand on a street corner sowing seeds into the hearts of pedestrians and drivers. others reach many at one time by mounting a speaker on top of their vehicle and broadcast a specially prepared voice tape/cd to hundreds at once and sow seeds that way. as long as the true biblical gospel is being proclaimed whether to one person at a time or hundreds at a time. [guess which method i'm gifted at].

I do not know why Ray took on desk Joel. Who cares about cuss in restaurant? He is rather famous for false Gospel. I know that we have to love even enemies. Joel Osteen is unbeliever so we can always pray for him. It will be rather difficult to convert false christian to Christianity, but who knows, for God everything is possible. Paul also was honest and believed that he served God yet Lord saved him.

Mr Osteen is not my pastor...and I'm saddened to hear you refer to him as America's pastor. Yes...its likely so for those that do not read the entirety of God's word for themselves and follow many false teachers that preach smooth sayings. Nevertheless this was not something that was glorifying to GOD and was shameful. Joel Osteen needs prayers that he will see the truth and repent and own up to his false teachings publicly so that some may see the error they have been lead away with.

Now, what exactly did the centurion think would do the work?-"The word ONLY." Upon what did he depend upon for the healing of his servant?-Upon "the word ONLY."
