It’s so crazy cause I was literally just on an internet hunt with a passionate theory that they rebranded THAT specific one (Pretty & Pure) trying to claim it’s “Soft & Dreamy”…. miss girl any OG who experienced Soft & Dreamy and Pretty & Pure could tell from one spritz that what they’re selling now is DECEITFUL SWAPPERY. Soft & Dreamy was a pillowy soft marshmallowy sweet fragrance…the new baby pink bottle version of it is nothing like it. But you guessed it, it has the zippy, bright, fruity almost watermelon-y tartness of Pretty & Pure!! 🧐 so if you’re looking for a dupe of the teal bottle, just buy the new “Soft & Dreamy” formula. Pro tip: the closest dupe TO DATE that I could find for the fragrance of Soft & Dreamy, is the OGX Thick & Full Biotin and Collagen hair oil. The shampoo and conditioner is similar but a bit more sandalwood based than the oil spray. The oil spray is almost dead on. I wish it were a perfume tho 🥲 I did see a potential dupe perfume called Honey & the Moon by TokyoMilk which I just ordered soooo I’ll update when it arrives! Edit: okay, the real real… my TokyoMilk perfume arrived so here’s my take on it (compared to Soft & Dreamy)! The base notes of the TokyoMilk perfume are absolutely SPOT ON…but, the top notes are straight up baby powder and edible-honey smell. Like, crack open a bottle of honey from the lazy-susan, that’s what this smells like, just mixed with legitimate Johnson & Johnson baby powder. BUT truly, deep below the top notes is that rounded sweet smell that takes you right back to 2011 🥲 Soft & Dreamy is definitely in there, I just wish it wasn’t buried by the sickeningly pungent honey and baby powder scent. THANKFULLY THOUGH, I tried pairing it with Ariana Grande’s Vanilla Mod, and it is freaking DELECTABLE. So, I won’t be returning it, but honestly I wouldn’t recommend purchasing it if you don’t like powdery or honey smells. From all the information I’ve gathered over the past few months (I’ve spent more money on blind buys than I’d like to think about… in the name of nostalgic science 🥲), I’m 99% certain that the full note list for Soft & Dreamy is as follows: -vanilla -jasmine -marshmallow -sandalwood Potentially also: -violet petals -patchouli -bergamot (I only included bergamot because that’s what OGX lists in their notes, but tbh I ordered a Vanilla, Jasmine, and Bergamot perfume and it didn’t smell close at all) So, the hunt continues. If y’all know any dupes pleeeeeease reply!!
