I've just known too many couples where the dad stays at home with the kids & ignores them just to play playstation all day every day, while the mom works a miserable job wishing she could be home with her kids more.

I've only visited IKEA as a single person or with my family...I've seen human mental destruction of epic magnitude inside that store between couples and I've seen families with multiple children turn into raging samplers of the showroom set pieces...yes, I walked around a corner and 12 yr boy was shitting in the prop toilet. I found the 1st employee I could find and when I told them, it didn't change the entranced hopelessness that had already consumed their eyes.

Many years ago, I got an apartment with my the GF. We went to IKEA, and I had €1000. I really thought that would be enough for our small apartment.
