Liz Callaway sings Pasek and Paul's Middle of a Moment from James and the Giant Peach

In June, 2010, master song interpreter Liz Callaway joined us onstage at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival in Australia. Here she sings the part of James in "Middle of a Moment" from our new musical JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH.
This song takes place near the end of ACT I. James has determined that he doesn't really have a home and that the little family he has (his wretched aunts) treats him terribly. He decides he's going to do something to change his life. During this song, he sees the big magical glowing peach; at the end he jumps into the peach and begins a new stage in his life.

I got the chance to see James and the Giant Peach at Goodspeed and this was my favourite song. Justin did a really good job singing it, and This lady did a great job. Hopefully one day James and the giant peach will go on Broadway. I'd love to see it again! :)

Justin Hall played the part the night I saw it at Goodspeed and he was AWFUL!! It's nice to finally hear the song interpereted well. Can't wait to hear the new version with Megan Hilty and Christian Borle.
