I've heard this song many times, including on the night it was introduced in Philiadephia in Anyone Can Whistle, but nothing compares to this version, which is just perfect, including the magnificent piano accompaniment.

Wow! ... Spellbinding performance, Liz. Listening to this, for some reason, brought to mind Bacharach/David's song _Alfie._ Can only imagine your take on that iconic song! Still one of the very best written songs of all time. Cheers, Liz! 🎙🇨🇦

Always an idol of mine. I was also doing musical theatre in the 80's and here is a voice that expands so many decades. Liz was so OUT there and confident -- recently caught her on the Theatre Critics Wing panel discussion from years ago, and her many cabaret performances nationwide. My, what a powerhouse not to be reckoned with. You will never wither. You are a legend.

The sincerest version I've heard. Liz is such a great story teller. She's never lost that special organic quality in her singing. No pretense and straight from the heart. Brava!

Thanks so much for this beautiful tribute to the Great genius. I saw you in Baby when I was in grad school and you totally blew me away. And a few years later, thanks to you What More Do I Need became my go-to song whenever there was a piano nearby. LOL Of course, no one will ever sing it like you!
