There is no doubt about it, Liz Cheney comes with a significant amount of baggage not the least of which is her father and the familiale ties to the industries of war. What is also certain is that this is a woman of conviction and courage. Rare as unicorns in this day and age. From what she has said I suspect that this whole venture has been a process of learning and discovery. I'm sure a lot of it has been and will continue to be painful. I am very curious to see wnho she will become as a politician and as a human being. I will read her book with great interest, when it makes its way to my library. Never have I been so baffled at the level of respect I ONCE had for SOME Republicans. Each day, I question what little respect I did have.
