However, Hollywood is a very competitive arena and the American public demands perfection. It is not enough to be physically attractive unless one just wants to be a pornstar. In Hollywood, you need to have a 'look' and a certain charisma that appeals to people like Danny DeVito or Jim Carrey or Larry David or Mick Jagger and a hundred more celebrities. Liza should avoid using “everybody back in the Philippines,” because it is not everybody. She also has to realize that a lot of the people were supportive and happy when she initially shared that she wanted to try Hollywood. It was after her “This Is Me” vlog when there were mixed reviews about her because truly, her narrative sounded more negative than positive.
