Im glad that you reviewed this one. I was seriously thinking about purchasing one. As far as you air vents are concerned. Yes you should have them cleaned. Your air conditioner will work better and it will help to control indoor allergies.

I bought something similar - same problem when adding attachments. So I bought a magnet with a hole and superglued it to the locking ring at the base of their magnet attachment and cut off the rest. With the hook, I cut off the hook at the base and super glued it to the side of it's locking ring... works great now... but would still rate it low because of having too alter their attachments so the camera wasn't blocked.
