Can't make someone rehab lost my cousin to alcohol and the streets everyone in the family tried to help him he would eventually get abusive or steal money out of his mothers purse or from others. He was on and off in living in parks. He caught covid back 2021 died sitting on a couch watching TV at my aunts house. He was an alcoholic he was so fun to be around when he was younger best personality had so many friends rich people let him crash at their guest houses. He even had a rich GF her father had him working at his company what did do show up drunk. She was going to marry him never showed up for the wedding was passed out drunk with another woman.

Hey "lizard hunter" you said that people would just drive past people like that woman overdosing. I would be more willing to help people overdosing but if i did they would just end up shooting up or smoking pills again and being on the edge AGAIN probably. Those people are addicts. Some of those people try to get clean and some do not. The addicts that wont try and get clean and end up almost overdosing can not be saved until they want to save themselves. This may seem heartless but i doubt very much im the only one out here with this point of view. Im sure that woman that was saved by the firefighters is a good and sweet person. Until she wants to get clean she will never truly be saved. She will only suffer until she gets the help she needs.
