Congratulations on 300! I seriously don't believe they allow dirt bikes on a hiking trail. That's ridiculous. The openness of that trail seems quite a challenge. The sun just drains you when it beats on you like that. You guys are troopers! Thanks for taking us along, have a great day.

I have heard of Salida. I think someone from the show “Prospectors” was from that area. Blisters are no fun. I found that wearing pantyhose knee hi’s under my socks helped me. Love you Liz!!!❤️❤️❤️

I’m no longer a hiker but From what I’ve seen I’m not sure hiking on the Colorado Trail would be on my Bucket List after seeing what you’ve experienced. I hate the heat as well as rocks and dry trail. Hope in the end it was worth it for you!

Do you find that sweats an issue for dreads? I had them years ago, and cut them off cuz they turned into a wet towel. Due to my work, I end up getting pretty filthy. As in, if I’m not wet to my elbows with hydraulic oil or permeated with welding fumes, it was a lucky day. So washing my hair just needs to happen. Also, I train Jiujitsu. Which is kind of a funky cesspool. My hairs long as fuck, and gets big as fuck. I’ve been toying with the idea of having me some dreads, again. What do you think, lost cause?

That’s awesome, does it seem easier now that your back in the saddle and not smoking than when you were smoking? I would think it would be much easier
