Our two peregrine nestlings progress very well at just over a month old. They are shedding their secondary down coat and the brown juvenile plumage is showing through. In a few days, they will be unrecognisable. They are starting to spend more time apart and are now self-feeding. The smaller male (Barru) is starting to realise that if he wants to eat, he needs to take it from his sister (Marri) as she will not share willingly unless she is full.
You don't need to worry about them falling out. They will only jump when they are ready to fly..
NESTLING NAMES are Marri (=red kangaroo) and Barru (bilby)
1st hatch 2/10
2nd hatch 3/10
The third egg is not viable ie it will not hatch and will be removed when the nestlings fledge, if not broken.
Fledgewatch starts 10th November, but more likely from 12th.

The echoes from the water tower make the storm even more scary (to me, anyway). I think the kiddoes were a little bit scared or at least confused. Barru wanted to be close to his mum. Thanks, liznm--what a day!

А я очень скучаю по Рубусу,у меня есть большая мечта,что однажды он обязательно вернётся в облике большого,красивого и отчаянно сражающегося за жизнь птенца........ Но пока этого не случилось,я плачу ,и все же вновь и вновь буду возвращаться на этот ставший для меня дорогим канал, во время появления новых птенцов,и верю всем сердцем, что однажды я увижу того самого Рубуса, которого никогда не забываю и очень люблю , в этом гнезде,и моя печаль превратиться в надежду,что он вернулся,и у него впереди большая и счастливая жизнь.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

Кто стер мой ответ на вопрос пользователя? Это никак не поможет тем,кто убил Рубуса, очень вкрю что в новом году,все кто виновен в гибели птенца Рубуса, сами потеряют тех,кто им дорого, нмчего личного, зло всегда возвращается к тем,кто его совершил.
