If I could share a piece of my life. I grew up in an environment daily where I was surrounded by anger, physical, and mental abuse until I was adopted at 7yrs old. I've struggled my entire daily life with fear, unsettled soul always oh high alert. My view of God has been flipped upside down. Hope of freedom used to be virtually impossible. So, this rest is the hardest part of my relationship with Him. I can't tell you how fearful it is to me when I become quiet and still. It's like I'm standing on the edge of the grand canyon ready to fall at any moment. I know in my heart how much He wants me to be still. He showed me it's like a baby being held in someone's arms that it takes a little time, but that child will eventually become aware of it's safety in that moment to the point it's even able to fall asleep. But I will say, that over the years of my relationship with Jesus, I'm no longer a child that feels helpless and alone. But experiencing his nearness, and close enough to him, where I know his love for me never lets me go. Little by little, allowing him to simply lavish his love in me heals the inner parts of a fractured soul. Love you all!!! ❤️❤️

Wow Liz! This really spoke to me! I struggle with what you mentioned and more and the Lord has been telling me to set all my affection and attention on him and as I have been doing this he has been setting me free from the bondage I’m in. I also do feel his light drawing me deeper and deeper into stillness and removing all the chaos I created in my life through disobedience to the truth and man God is Love! I’m so thankful for you sister in Christ! Thank you Liz for Helping the body know Jesus 💯🙌🏼😊
