You should really rewatch Robocop if you can. Not only is a really kickass action movie, with lots of rated-r violence, it's also a really smart satire of corporate greed and the privatization of military and police forces. It stands the test of time quite well.

One of my favorite movies. I like the 80's vibe computers and TVs. The music, the gun, and even that the grenades takes time to explode. Feels like a reference to the grenade Clarence Boddicker used to kill Bob Morton. The spot from the bullethole that 'killed' him. Even the continuity error of removing of the upper helmet also removes the chin and neck cover, even though it's not even attached, just like the movie 😉 Aahh small details 🤗

I'm just getting to watch this now, really long day at work. I love that you and Quali are getting to check this out. I was a kid when I first saw Peter Weller in this 80s gem; it's so awesome that Peter signed on to voice him in the game. They even kept the classic music, the gunplay including the crotch shots. As was always the line "I'd buy that for a dollar" 😊 I'm hoping to stay awake long enough to see if you visit an arcade in the game. I was watching Sam Witwer, star of Days Gone, play this on his stream too and he was nostalgic about all the Robocop stuff too. He does a pretty good Robocop himself, aired the demo on Twitch on October 6. You should check it out, funny stuff, funny guy. And he's got these lovely hero dogs, like they recently saved someone's life. Ha ha got likes coming in as I try to watch the rest of the video. The dry humor, like in the police queue, is honestly right from the movies. As far as pizza crusts go (49:15), I could relate. I'm not a big fan of food waste myself, and yeah unless I've got like a really nasty crust I will eat the whole pizza, like ALL the slices. I'm a giant at 6'5" and regarded in some circles as the Eater of Pies, not likely to get full at that height too lol. Honestly I have to hold myself back if I want to save any for leftovers. 1:09:00 Oh nice, this is the area I was hoping to see. It's true; it would be nice if you could play some of the games in this arcade. I could even remember an arcade version of Robocop 2 in my teen years, back when the arcades of that time were a sanctuary of mine against the cruelties of the world. I got to watching this on Sam's playthrough (he and I are close in age) and we were marveling at the detail that they put into this 80s era arcade. Even the change machine looked authentic, as if the devs somehow found a retro arcade and scanned it into the game. It literally was like something out of our childhood and the sounds...oh the sounds of the games and the pinball machines. It's amazing that the devs managed to recreate them, again I'm thinking maybe they found a retro arcade and just hit record. I coined a phrase in chat then that came to mind, Arcade ASMR. And it just caught on so well with chat; it's like you hear the sounds if you're an OG gamer and you're transported back to that era. I love it... ❤️ 1:12:40 Ah sneaky lore. TJ Lazer was a mockup TV series mentioned in the first movie. Murphy's son was a fan, and marveled at the gun twirl he would do after firing it. Murphy, being a stand up father, trained himself to do the same move and thus Robocop will sometimes do it too.

I think if they make a story expansion for robocop rogue city they should introduce driving elements imagine a bank robbery you have to chase them down in your car to there hideout then take them out that would be awesome they could also have some tailing missions following drug dealers and informants in there cars then just as a deal is about to go down you have the option to kill them or arrest them 😀
