They both love each other more than a father/daughter would, and to have a close bond with your father like that (she constantly cries and show vulnerability to him,he talks about all sorts of things around her) I’m just saying father/daughter takes years and even so, it’s not going to be like that. And if it was father/daughter they wouldn’t have betrayed each other so much. (Red keeps secrets and Liz betray him because of them). They have deep love mix with hate., kinda like enemies/lovers thing♠️♥️♠️

When he says her name right before he thinks hes going to be shot. Imo that is totally a father saying goodbye to his daughter. Then after when they are in the car and he tries to make her promise not to try and save again. Another father moment, because parents never want their children in danger even if its to save them. Love this show

Gigglezpage Lizzy is his focus right now for whatever reason. That's not to say he doesnt love his other daughter. He did try and find Jennifer and I dont think hes stopped looking for her, but the show is about him and Lizzy.
