As an avid road cyclist, back in 2012, I attended Lance Armstrong's 75-mile bike ride in Austin, TX. Before the bike ride, Mr. Armstrong personally stood in front of his fans on a podium with gusto. Upon completion of the bike ride, I went home still awed by Lance Armstrong’s awesome speech! And most professional Kenyan marathoners are exclusively plant based high carbohydrate, some richer one might take some animal meat but they usually restricted to one match box sized per week. Some of them don't even work fully as athletes, marathoner just a side occupation e.g. main occupation, policeman. Most African marathoners are pretty poor, so they join marathon with hope to win and get some handsome sum of prize money, then heavily taxed by their respective country government, and lastly take the money left after the government take away to buy some land and build some house to do some renting business, farming or so. Last time I read book written by sport nutritionist who had the chance to visit Kenya, to his surprise when he discovered all about the Kenyan marathoners. That's totally insane.

And the policeman marathoner was like the top 10 world class marathoner at the time, he used to train when he is off-duty LOL And most of them train at high altitude, for the poor marathoners they actually train with bare feet, running on soil road with some small rocks! So maybe due to high altitude training, they actually gain more red blood cell so that mean more oxygen and nutrient supply at faster rate.

I would like to give the sport people the benefit of the doubt regardless of the drug/ no drug nonsense. We watched a a very short clip of Leon not to shake hand with a Chinese coach that he may or may not have known. Did he shake hand with everyone but that coach. We did not watch the longer clip. Would he have shaken hand with me if I had jumped over everyone from the back row. The security probably would have thrown me out. If he purposely did not shake hand with any Chinese coach then who instructed him not to do so French swimming officials! We do not know. So we should not one minute love someone next minute dislikes them because we do not know the fully story. He appears to be a non arrogant good boy. He was a determined boy who wanted to be like Phelps, and trained by Phelps coach day in day out ( I would like to also praise his previous clubs who trained him to start with). The same is true for Chinese swimmers. They did not get to where they are overnight. They also saw Phelps winning gold medals in Beijing. They invested in lots of pools with thousands of kids swimming up and down day in day out; naturally you end up with lots of good swimmers ; end of story. Swimmers do not have any issues with each other. they know Leon is good they know Pan is good. Unfortunately politicians manipulate things and cause hatred. They like to divide people. I do not know why US is picking on Chinese they lost the following races to Europeans ; Men 200, 400, 800 Free 200,400IM 100,200 Breastroke 100,200 Backstroke 100,200 Butterfly 4 x200 Free Women 50,100 Free And they lost the majority of the rest to Aussie and Canadians. This is not a new situation. Several years ago after World Swimming championships NBC resorted the medal table so that the US came on top! Aussies told them you are a bunch of sore losers which caused a lot of hoha. They should have accepted the results and improved their squad instead.

The U.S. is a contradiction to itself - or as some will call them, "hypocrites" - they say one thing but does the opposite of what they say. Even in the 70's, the US blamed the Soviet Union for using steroids or for not being amateurs. The hubris is amazing. There's no such thing as good sportsmanship here. USA is a disgrace. Their silver and bronze medalists refused to shake hands with the Chinese Gold medalist. The USA 2nd place athletes went straight to the 1st placed Chinese athlete and called him a doping cheat. And regardless of the 7 times a day testing for 3 days of the Chinese athletes prior to the event to stop them from having proper rest (Midnight, Early morning, Morning, Afternoon, Late afternoon, Evening, etc) they are now demanding that court hearings be held on the Chinese Athletes after the Olympics. Huske again edged the Chinese team to win gold in the mixed medley swimming freestyle with a very purplish face. Tang Qin Ting was another victim underperformed under the severe stress of the doping fabrication. She would have won gold in the women’s 100m breaststroke with her average time of under 1:05 too.

The fact if Japanese or Korean can win medals so can China. Western cultures always eat more meat than any other societies due to cultural and economic reasons. With its economic development, Chinese kids nowadays can enjoy all kind of nutritional food. And CPC actually provided a better environment for exercises and sports. Most of American sports their athletes used some sort of drugs. It is just that they were hardly tested in college or professional level. Or they just covered it up or use a drug that could not be detected. Lance Armstrong was using steroid. Yet somehow he passed the drug tests for many years. Many Chinese kids living in America are taller and stronger. I bet it also has something to do with the food they eat since livestock are probably fed with some sort of hormone in America. Even many Chinese kids from China are 6'3" or taller. Have someone ever wonder why all the black athletes in America have always been better than those from Africa with some exceptions. It is training, nutrition, and cheating. Pure athleticism Asians may not be as good as black athletes. Chinese are very good at mastering technique. They are hardworking and dedicated. It just upset the west because they want to demonize China just like Arabs and Russians. This is cold war mentality. By demonizing them, the west can justify to ignore moral and reasons to smear them and attack them.

To add to it, why is it that, when an American (e.g., Michael Phelps or Katie Ledecky) does well, he or she is hailed as "great" or even "legendary", but with absolutely no question of doping. They're assumed to be honest straight-up lily white champions. Yet who knows if or not they cheated. But when a foreign (Asian) swimmer succeeds, immediately - and without concrete evidence - there are accusations of doping, despite their undergoing far more frequent and rigorous testing than their US and Australian counterparts. Might there not be just a wee bit of western propaganda here?
