Why are you calling this thing out? I just dodged a guy on the way home who decided to stop in the middle of an interstate so that he could get across 3 lanes of traffic and get to his exit.

I truly believe (and data backs this up) that robot drivers are safer than human drivers. Some people are saying that if most driving km (miles) are done by self driving vehicles, crash and injury and death rates will go down to almost 0 due to driving risks.

:15 should not be turning the wheel , if rear ended you end up into on coming traffic , keep wheel straight until actually making the turn . making me comment less then 20 secs in ,sigh .

It sees and anticipates in all directions. It can brake or flip the wheel if a car comes up behind

Good question! It doesn’t make sense but during Covid I think it was the rules Waymo had. They monitored you and if you took off your mask, even if you were riding alone, they would stop the ride.
