We knew that Kobe was this great basketball player and champion, but Kobe had a life away from the court where he was helping the homeless. He and his wife had a foundation for the youth and homeless. They had a place to sleep, eat a hot meal.... Kobe just gave them hope when they thought they didn't have a chance in life. Kobe took on that project to give back. He knew it was going to be hard to fulfill, but he took on that challenge. Kobe sacrifice his life to help others. He didn't let money Define who he was. Kobe was a real Champion 👑

Nice comment. It's sad that the hate and resentment his parents had towards their son because he made his own life decision and married a " white " woman. The hate ran so deep his parents even refused to be apart of their grandchildren's lives. Their racist. Why the media isn't calling it like they would if the colors were reversed says alot about today's narrative. If his dad had such deep rooted racism why subject your son to growing up in a European country. Theres so many things to be said about this but all this is about kobe and how great he was. Not his parents. Kobe is an inspiration for all and the love the world showed back cemented everything kobe did in his own life and his actions are proof. He did everything right

That speakes volume to his parents on how they raised him . I seen a interview with the teenage Kobe , and he spoke on the " love and respect " that he had for his parents and sisters , they were always there for him before basketball . How the love of his mother kept him grounded , and he could never repay them back for that , but some where alone the way he forgot that . Because you have to still remember those that brought you to where you've reached or maybe he should have looked back at some of his old interviews to remember who got him there and the words that he spoke . There's never enough money to repay your parents especially if they were not good but great ones to you and to listen to him they were that so money should not have come between them . Even the parents that didn't always have but did there best deserve respect too .
@jackmehoff25034 жыл бұрын
Kobe never forgot about his parents. I don't know what gave you that impression. He had a falling out with his parents because his parents treated him n his wife nasty when they got together. Even then kobe would still look out for them, but word is that his mother would try to pawn off the memorabilia that he would gift em. Kobe stayed decent n honorable til the end. His parents are the one that held a grudge
