Lyrically, LL wasn't as potent as Canibus. 2nd Round Knock Out was harder than any of LL's diss tracks, real talk. Not dissing, cause L one of the reasons I got into Hiphop at like 5 or 6 yrs old 86- '87. But Canibus came for the jugular like Nas did on Ether. The part that they left out was WHY LL was pissed that Canibus wanted to "borrow" the mic on his arm. When Canibus first met LL, he said he wanted a tattoo just like LL's. LL kept telling him that he should get his own original tattoo but Canibus insisted that he wanted one just like LL's. So when Canibus said that line in the song, LL was like "man, this kid is gettin on my nerves." That was corny on Canibus' part.
