I agree that Rap and Hip Hop was created to give blacks in the hood a voice, because no one else would! So I do feel that Eminem cannot be “King” of Hip Hop because it not only demands skills in rapping but also someone who can both speak to and for the culture. To do that, you must wear this melanin rich skin, that is hated and mistreated by outsiders and insiders, if we are being honest, and come from the black hood community you speak for. Eminem loves Hip Hop and understands and respects this. Outsiders see a great YT rapper who looks like them and say, he is the greatest Hip Hop rapper. This is because they DO NOT KNOW Hip Hop. We all know today there are plenty great rhyming rappers who “love” our culture but don’t “live” it. You only hear some rappers and others, force you to hear AND feel the pain of hood life and being black in your soul. Eminem will forever be cemented in Hip Hop. We love Em ❤
