so Tcrash damage testing was wack and cuirass should have been more SES does indeed buff aftershocks when cuirass doesnt but for SES: initial impact - 751834 explosions - 16396*11 aftershocks - 9832*4 total - 971518(same as the vid) so using Cuirass and the same amount of hits initial impact - 776895 explosions - 16942*11 aftershocks - 6554*4 so the total SHOULD BE - 989473 but the total in the vid is 955589 which is 33884 less than the theoretical which is exatctly 2 explosion ticks TLDR: Cuirass hits for 989473 instead of 955589 shown in the vid and is better than SES

It is insane to me that the highest damage super hunters can do is only 1 million damage... Meanwhile Titans are out here doing 2.1 million. Titans should NOT be the dps class; they already have the best burst damage AND survivability in the game but Titans were crying and shitting their pants so much when they got nerfed in Final Shape, and now we're back where we started: Titans being good at literally everything while Warlocks and Hunters play catch-up instead of playing the game. Titans truly are Bungie's youngest child.

Titan is not top DPS class even for now if you really understand damage rotation. The main issue for titan was not being able to deal damage from a far distance meaning you are not even possible to damage some bosses. A skillfull hunter still outdamages other classes.

Yep. And once again Hunters ain't got stuff to do in PvE. Don't need Tether when you got Div, don't need GG when you got TC, don't need SS when you got Bleak Watchers. All the good Hunter supers are easily replaced by basically anything else. Only thing we can maybe kinda do is Beyblade builds, but I think most people play to use powers, not throw a ball.

Why are you saddened by it? Golden Gun has never been the top in terms of pure super one off damage. It's strong enough to allow you to one tap champs in GMs and allows you to have insanely high dps/overall damage in a practical damage scenario. So while other supers have higher damage than nighthawk, nighthawk still wins when it comes to actual dps in a damage phase. You can prepop celestial goldy and output 600k of damage in less than a second by the time damage starts, then go into cycling between your weapons, so you end up beating out every other super here when you consider overall damage output in a dps phase.

Saw an aegis dmg video recently, apparently the numbers for t crash are a 83% or 93% boost in dmg? for a base i think, with failing star i think its like 55% or something like that. Different that what bungie put out for a 33% dmg boost. But this should be the realistic dmg of t crash, you're throwing yourself at the enemy, putting yourself in potential danger and if you'e in a dps window you're gonna need time to get back to where you were doing damage. Also can't be used on every boss like other ranged damage supers so yeah, the trade off should be more damage.

that wasnt purpose of the video. tell me you are a hunter main without telling me you are a hunter main. everybody knows that hunters are damage machines. almost every world first was done with 4+ hunters. also, this video was just purely about the super. there are many other factors that boosts your damage. for example warlock, class item with apotheosis, vortex grenade, incinerate snap and nova bomb deals around 2 times the damage shown in the video. even 3 times when you apply weaken by a tractor cannon and getting radiant as well as activity surges and so on. ps my shift key is broken as you might have already guessed

A thing almost nobody knows: Song of Flame actually deals more damage with only the melee ability. IMO the fact that nova bomb outputs a bit more damage than twilight arsenal is absurd. Twilight arsenal takes longer to cast and using the relic axes for more damage only prevents you from using other weapons, whereas nova bomb is a fire and forget. That, and the fact that Thundercrash is the highest burst super in the game now, is why pretty much everyone’s gonna use it over twilight arsenal. A shame. Love the axes.

Glacial Quake has always had the highest damage potential but rarely actually does that much cause usually all the crystals don't hit boss. No one is ever going to use fuckin Hammers for DPS. Bladefury is a melee super so it doesn't work on most bosses. And Thundercrash is bugged and got a 93% buff by accident. And for the record high damage does not mean the super is good. Hammers might do a million damage but its not practical in most scenarios.

They have supers that facilitate rotations Golden gun is the fastest and lets you get right into rotations Silence and squall whilst weak is great thanks to freezing auto loading weapons, letting you do better cascade rotations and lucky pants ones

@@Esther-303 how long was starfire a thing a whole year.... how long was berserker whole year again... but the melee berserker was for 3 season.... How long did it take them to nerf still hunt? Not even a whole act let alone the whole episode for an year.... Synthos got nerfed on hunter.. all though they are already at reduced capability on other classes. But every other class kept full 80% buffing star-eater

That’s fair. People often point to Hunter being defined by high damage super and mobility. Others arguably exceed in those areas. Not particularly unhappy, just an observation.

@@imberaeris6768 since prismatic dropped Hunters haven’t excelled in high, one and done damage. You could even argue they haven’t since strand dropped with nova bomb and needlestorm outpacing them in the big number category Even then though hunters were still the damage class thanks to how quick their supers are allowing them to easily get into rotations. Their kits would also help massively with this. Stasis hunter has never been defined by ability damage but is consistently a top damage options because it lets people use rotations to their fullest
